Political and ideological education is a rich tradition of our communist party, it is also the backbone for economy and other work and a powerful weapon to establish harmonious society in China. With the economic globalization and all-round harmonious society building, a satisfactory achievement has been obtained in political and ideological education in the schools in China. But in the back of this, there also exists many problems, one of which is that political and ideological education is turning to be inflexible and isolated, and this, in turn, leads to unsatisfactory results and out of the line with the actual practice in education. The basic reason that leads to this phenomenon is that political and ideological education in the schools is still confined to the mode of traditional cognitive modes with direct, apparent and political and ideological education curriculum as the main method in teaching, this will trap the political and ideological education in the position of being monotonous, one-sided and in-forceful. The solution to this depends on the perfection of political and ideological education, that is, besides the formal curriculum of political and ideological education, there should also be hidden curriculum of political and ideological education. It can be seen that it is urgent and practical to study the hidden curriculum of political and ideological education. And it is impractical to put political and ideological education curriculum in actual practice, and strengthen the practical force of political and ideological education. Based on the reasons above, this paper states the system of hidden curriculum of political and ideological education and takes the curriculum out of isolation and inflexibility in order to open up a new world of political and ideological education.Knowing of the concept is the basis and the beginning of theoretical study, this paper first defines hidden curriculum of political and ideological education. In the previous study, the concept of hidden curriculum of political and ideological education is vague and ambiguous, and there is not a systematic knowledge of hidden curriculum of political and ideological education, thus resulting in the ambiguity of hidden curriculum of political and ideological education. This paper, starting from the macro-course of modern course theory, presents a reasonable analysis of the disputes and the definition of hidden curriculum of political and ideological education. By taking this as the basis, this paper defines hidden curriculum of political and ideological education. And this paper also points out that hidden curriculum of political and ideological education is the educational factors, in which the educators offer fine moral experience to those who receive education by unconscious and unspecified psychological reactions through purposeful, systematic educational circumstance and activities to achieve the political and ideological education object.Hidden curriculum of political and ideological education distinguished itself from formal curriculum of political and ideological education by active characteristics, the characteristics are as follows: (1) Universal immersion. Seen from the scope, hidden curriculum of political and ideological education covers not only the area of subject course and that of activity course, but also the materialistic, systematic and cultural environments in school education, showing the all-day round and constant status. (2) Subconscious influence. Seen from the modes of influence, hidden curriculum of political and ideological education has influence on the students by unconscious and unspecified psychological reactions mechanism. (3) Unconsciously-obtained education value. Hidden curriculum of political and ideological education functions under the intake mechanism unconsciously to those who receive education. It functions in social and individual aspects. Hidden curriculum of political and ideological education achieves its social control by altering the ideology and values of the ruling class into a sort of "deep structure". Besides, hidden curriculum of political and ideological education , as a subconscious education ally-influenced factor exerts its huge impacts on the individual achievement.As a special form of course, hidden curriculum of political and ideological education should follow some principles in preparation, including the society-oriented principle, the individual-oriented principle, the systematic principle and the inter-subjective principle. In order to exert the social and individual functions, in preparing the hidden curriculum of political and ideological education, the society-demanding, the students' thought and their mentality should be sufficiently collected to achieving the purpose of hidden curriculum of political and ideological education. This paper presents the components, the environment, the system design in hidden curriculum of political and ideological education.Another breakthrough in this paper is to put the design of hidden curriculum of political and ideological education into its practice. Hidden curriculum of political and ideological education differs from formal political and ideological education curriculum in that it exerts subconscious and indirect. This paper analyzes the specific education and in-taking mechanism. Hidden curriculum of political and ideological education has special demands in education practice. Therefore, this paper states the essence of those who receive education and the necessary preparation concerned. In the hidden curriculum of political and ideological education, the individual-oriented principle should be followed. This paper presents specific investigations into the elite, the problem and the economic-disadvantaged students groups as well in hidden curriculum of political and ideological education.This paper finalizes the hidden curriculum of political and ideological education with curriculum evaluation and development net structure modes. In the last chapter, this paper makes a basic study of the evaluation mechanism of hidden curriculum of political and ideological education, and analyzed the essence, characteristics and principles concerned. Taking this as the basis, this paper introduces the practical methods to evaluate on the hidden curriculum of political and ideological education. Lastly, this paper constructs the net development modes to elaborate on the hidden curriculum of political and ideological education.
