Communist Party Of China Social Construction Thought

Social Construction Thought of the Communist Party of China(SCTCPC), theories and views of SCTCPC, is a series of strategic thinking and guiding principles on guiding the practice of social construction in China. The study of SCTCPC is of great theoretical and practical significance. First of all, valuable historical experiences and lessons can be drawn from the study of SCTCPC and that of a systematic and theoretical summary of the Party leading the people in social construction through different periods of the history. Second, ideas and suggestions on further social construction can be extracted from historical enlightenment and scientific theories based on the study of SCTCPC.This article consists of five chapters. Logical structure and basic contents are as follows.Chapter I is the basic overview of social construction theory. First: the connotation of social construction, where the concept and characteristics of social construction are introduced and the connotations of SCTCPC are briefly outlined. Second: the status of social construction from the aspect of the relationship between social construction and overall layout of socialism with Chinese characteristics, scientific development, harmonious society-building, and a well-off society construction. Third: effects of social construction, mainly lying in favor of stimulating social vitality, promoting fairness and justice, and coordinated economic & social development.Chapter II is about the theoretical origin of SCTCPC. First: the social construction-related thoughts of Marx and Engel's, from which the concepts of fairness and justice, all-round free development of people, social security, income distribution and employment are developed. Second: several foreign social construction theories, from which mainly the theory of civil society, social control, the risk of society, social conflict and social welfare are employed. These ideas and theories provided a theoretical basis for the origination and development of SCTCPC.Chapter III is about the development course of SCTCPC. From the vertical perspective, SCTCPC includes social construction ideas of the Party in the revolution, construction and reform stages. In the early period of its existence, The Communist Party of China had some certain thoughts on social construction. In revolutionary times, the Communist Party of China advanced a number of advocacies on social construction and launched local social construction practice in their own revolutionary bases, which had led to substantial fruits. After the founding of New China, SCTCPC, being continuously enriched, led the people across the country in the practice of social construction, which yielded both experience and lessons. Summing up the history of the first 30 years of experience and continuously enriching the social construction thoughts, our Party has achieved remarkable results in social construction since reform and opening up. based on the experience of the Party's leadership since the founding of New China in the practice of social construction, in the context of social transition, the Party proposed strategic task of building a socialist harmonious society, which assigned importance to social construction, thus SCTCPC has been further enriched and developed since the Party's sixteenth National Congress. In short, through these four stages of development, ultimate concept of SCTCPC has come into being.Chapter IV is about the basic elements of SCTCPC. From the horizontal perspective, SCTCPC is a systematic summary of the social construction of the Party leading people at different periods since its founding, theoretical summery of historical experience in social construction, and general, leading, systematic strategic thinking. From specific point of view, SCTCPC mainly consists of the main contents, strategic objectives, strategic focus and the basic principles of social construction and so on since the founding of the Party.Chapter V is about the basic experience of SCTCPC. The Communist Party of China has accumulated precious experience in the process of leading social construction. Through horizontal and vertical analysis of SCTCPC, this article gives a systematic summary of the historical experience of the Party leading the people in different periods of time in social construction, especially historical experience of its ruling leadership in the process of social construction since the founding of the New China, refines theoretical results of inspiration and regularity and provides reference to further promote social construction.
