Social class theory of Marxism has been put forward about 150 years. During this period, the world has seen a dramatic social differentiation and stratification。From a global perspective, the class still present, but the social class constitution has undergone great changes in the capitalist society, social stratification structure created a new trend that the working class have been greatly divided, the number and proportion of the middle class became more and more. In contemporary China, as the reform and opening, Chinese economic has rapidly developing. At the same time, the people's living standards also have rising. With economic development, China's social structure has changed a lot. Before the reform and opening up, China has the working class, the peasantry and intelligentsia. Now, the social structure has changed. There has been the emergence of new sectors and a large gap. Both the common people and the scholars are very concerned about the social phenomena. Many scholars began to study China's social differentiation and stratification. However, most of these researchers in the theory of social stratification based on Western research paradigm, there is little analysis of the theory of Marxism-class paradigm. Therefore, this article is under the guidance of historical materialism, the article reviews the theoretical Origin of Marx's class theory, and recalled the theory of Marx's class analysis theory in the Chinese revolution and construction in the process of development. Meanwhile, the paper analyzes the contemporary Western theories of social stratification, further confirmed the value of Marx's class theory. Finally, according to the basic principles of Marxist class analysis, under the guidance of scientific concept of development, the paper analyzes the current structure of Chinese society, and through social ecology and social psychology perspective, to further explore the current issues of social stratification, and of solving the problem way.This thesis consists of introduction and five chapters.In the introduction, the paper pointed out that the Marx's class theory is being challenged; the paper also outlined the basic structure of this study. With the development of social change, Marx's class analysis theory also needs to change. Through theoretical innovation, Marx's class analysis theory can better interpret the reality of contemporary Chinese society and better guide construction of a harmonious socialist society. In this sense, this study is a research topic of great theoretical importance.In the first chapter, the paper reviews the ideological origins of Marx's class analysis theory. As the ancient thinkers and Marx have been no systematic focuses on class theory. Therefore, this chapter reviews the ancient Greek philosophers and the utopian socialists who have a major impact on the thinking of Marx, describes the historical development of class theory picture.Chapter II explores the Marxist theory of class analysis richness. The same logic and history, is the basic principle of dialectical thinking and requirements. Through in-depth research paper related to Marx's key texts, Chapter II explores the rich content of Marx's class analysis theory (including the nature of class and class in a form, the standard division of the class, class struggle, etc.). On this basis, the article extracts some valuable theory to promote the development of the theory of class analysis with Chinese characteristics.The third chapter discusses some of the contemporary Western theories of social stratification, such as Max Weber, Pierre Bourdieu, Wright and so on. They are different from their own perspective on a study of social stratification, and made a number of different views of Marxist class theory. To some extent, their research more or less reference to Marx's class analysis theory. Through these discussions, the article further demonstrates the internal tension of Marx's class analysis theory, and provides a valuable theoretical reference for the current division of Chinese society.Chapter IV reviews the evolution and development of Marx's class analysis theory during the Chinese revolution and construction process. In this chapter, the thesis expounded the class analysis perspective from Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping and Jiang Zemin. Under the guidance of Marx's class analysis theory, Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping and Jiang Zemin have been studied the social classification and stratification. To some extent, it demonstrates Marx's theories is not a closed system, but keep pace with the contemporary practice of open systems.In the fifth chapter, according to the basic principles of Marxist class analysis, the paper analyzes the current structure of Chinese society, and through social ecology and social psychology perspective, to further explore the current issues of social stratification, and of solving the problem way under the guidance of scientific concept of development. The paper also analyzes the contemporary value of Marx's class analysis theory.In conclusion, under the guidance of historical materialism, this study reviews the thought origin and rich content of Marx's class analysis theory, and discusses some of the contemporary Western theories of social stratification. The paper also reviews the evolution and development of Marx's class analysis theory during the Chinese revolution and construction process. Finally, according to the basic principles of Marxist class analysis, under the guidance of scientific concept of development, the paper analyzes the current structure of Chinese society, and through social ecology and social psychology perspective, to further explore the current issues of social stratification, and of solving the problem way.
