It still face many practical problems and has a distance from modern values, which brings about confusion and doubt to people's values options, and also make traditional leading values lose its original authority and persuasiveness, which leads to the sense of anxiety of people's self-identity and disorder of values.All of these indicate the value of values research, and furthermore, it has crucial meanings for our socialist career to resolve practical problems in our social values whenever possible under the complicated humanistic background mixed with traditional values, present values and extrinsic values. The values construction in this article aims at the situation of diversity and conflicts of social values, advance two strategies:building leading values and integrating values conflicts. The leading values is "System of socialist core values", which was brought forward by our Communist Party, and is in a dominate position among all the values objects, it reflects people's common benefits requirements, embodies reasonable recognition of our social values' present conditions, thus has the qualification and foundation to lead different values. Values integration base on our country's practical situation, brings culture transformation into values ken, mainly by means of critically inherit to our traditional culture and localization of western culture, expand how to integrate values conflicts in present social basic fields in detail, by means of synthetically innovation of culture, construct Chinese characteristic socialist harmonious culture, improve social values go to modernization in the contradiction movement of "conflict" and "integration".
