Transformation Of Chinese Society-building Research

In the February 19, 2005 speech, President Hu Jintao formally proposed the concept of social construction, and confirmed the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics, "Four in One" overall layout. Since then, the society as a theoretical and practical issues are more and more attention. However, what is our current social construction of the historical background? What are the characteristics? What major? What need to make efforts to solve the problem at this stage? How to solve these problems? These issues still need further study. This article explains more fully Chinese Social Construction in Transition (CSCT), the basic content, character and significance, with emphasis from values, social structure, social organization and social undertakings of the four aspects to strengthen CSCT of the basic ideas and main countermeasures.Paper is divided into five chapters.Chapter I outlines CSCT of meaning and significance. The first sum and define the basic content of CSCT. Second, outlines four characteristics of CSCT, namely, comprehensive, orientation, social and long-term. Third, the meaning of CSCT is explained, from the promotion of economic and social development, improving people's livelihood, easing social conflicts, consolidating the party's ruling position, the development of socialism with Chinese characteristics in five aspects. ?Chapter II discusses CSCT of value orientation. Value orientation are the values of certain subjects based on their own, in the face or deal with contradictions, conflicts, relations between the basic value of the position held, attitudes, and demonstrated the value of the basic value orientation. CSCT of value orientation include people-oriented, maintain fairness and justice, promote social harmony. Among them, insist on people-oriented is the most important safeguard, maintain fairness and justice is the fundamental guarantee, and promote social harmony is the fundamental goal of CSCT. Chapter III discusses the construction of social structure in transition. Change of social structure is the most important social transformation and development process. Structural condition of society is not only a reflection of the degree of social transformation, but also affects social stability, social harmony and social development. Original social structure of China in transition is intense process of differentiation and integration. Social structure is an important basis on which the issue of social contradictions and social conflicts. Promoting social construction requires the establishment of a reasonable and balanced social structure. This stage, the urban-rural structure, regional structure and social class structure is the optimal social structure of the important and difficult.Chapter IV discusses the transformation of social organizations. Social organization is conscious of the social groups together, in order to achieve specific goals. In the Chinese context, social organizations include community groups, foundations and private non-enterprise units in three categories. Social organization is not only a bridge linking the government and the public with a link, but also to maintain social stability and social good governance, an important force in the development of social undertakings. Since the reform and opening up, China's rapid development of social organizations to play an active role in society, there also exist some problems. To promote the healthy development of social organizations, requires us to change our concepts, strengthen the government's social organizations to foster and support; gradually establish and improve the legal system of social organization, and promote management system; strive to improve their quality of social organizations, the creation of good public service image; actively participate in international exchange and cooperation, development of social organizations to develop new space.Chapter V discusses the transformation of social undertakings. Social undertakings is the state for social welfare purposes, by the state authorities or other organizations engaged in education, science, culture, health and other activities of social services. In our country at all levels of the relevant documents issued by the Government, the social undertakings, including education, health care, employment, social security, science and technology, culture, sports, community development, tourism, population and family planning and so on. Development of social undertakings is to improve people's livelihood and promote social progress and harmony of the basic requirements. In CSCT, give priority to education, employment, social security, community building is of particular importance.? ?...
