Discipline is the foundation of the survival and development of university, which offers a basic platform for university to realize its functions of teaching, doing research and promoting social service. The disciplinary culture is the symbol of matured disciplines, it can direct the construction and the development of the discipline, motivate the intersection, integration and innovation of the disciplines, moreover it can provide the most lasting competitive advantage which is the most basic and not easily be imitated by other university disciplines. In fact, because of different disciplines having different values, different symbol systems and unique ways of thinking, there are gaps, contradictions and conflicts between disciplinary culture, which seriously restrict the level of academic improvement and the sustainable development of university. Therefore, how to profoundly understand the differences between disciplinary culture, how to resolve conflicts and contradictions, how to promote diversified disciplinary culture integrated, which can conduct to the deepening and development of the discipline, benefit to the melt different disciplines and maintain the development of university organization, is an important issue facing up to university administrators.This paper took the corporate culture management theory, the higher education theory as a foundation, and then synthetically carried out the theoretical and empirical studies on the system of university disciplinary culture the heterogeneity integration, the innovation and the contraction of this culture with the methods such as on-the-spot investigation, literature review, expert interview, statistical analysis, and case study. The main results of this paper were as follows:(1) The research category of the disciplinary culture was pointed out based on the literatures from corporate culture management theory perspectives, with the consideration of the uniqueness of university disciplinary culture:As a cultural system, the disciplinary culture is the product of scholar, discipline and knowledge which influenced each other in the dynamic process, and it is the radiation and branch of social culture in the discipline, the disciplinary culture is also the branch of the academic tradition or the academic cultural system in the university that diverged outwardly, in a word it is a complex system.(2) The four levels structure model of disciplinary culture was established take example form the corporate culture laminated structure theory, the model was composed of spirit culture, institutional culture, behavior culture and material culture. Then the relationships and the interactions of those four levels were analyzed:The spirit culture is the soul and core of the discipline. The system culture presents necessary conditions and safeguards for a discipline. The behavior culture standardizes the process of disciplinary actions and promotes its development. The material culture is the supporter and basis of the whole structure. The four levels disciplinary culture system is a dynamic system, these levels function as a organic unit, complement each other, seeps mutually, supplemented mutually, none of them is dispensable, they nurture the person together.(3) Three kinds of sources of heterogeneities of disciplinary culture such as the change of the discipline subject, interdisciplinary conflict, the administrative merger were explored, and the manifestation of heterogeneities of disciplinary culture like different disciplines values, thinking patterns and language forms were analyzed, four patterns of the integration of disciplinary cultural heterogeneities were constructed: assimilation, infiltrating, separation and disappearance. Based on the analyses of ecosystem of discipline, the law and modes of innovation of discipline cultural were explored. The innovation of discipline cultural should be realized gradually with the accumulation, criticize, discovery and invention of the cultures. Then the idea of how to cultivate discipline culture force was set out such as offering an open academic environment of cooperation, supporting a free academic atmosphere like'a hundred schools of thought contend', advocating perseverance, and building up academic group full of cooperation.(4) Given little quantitative research in the research of Disciplinary Culture during the past, we launched the questionnaire survey and statistical analysis based on the theoretical analysis of University Disciplinary Culture, and found that People of different backgrounds have different perceptions of Disciplinary Culture:the core of Disciplinary Culture is spiritual cultural, compared with students, teachers and management groups more interested in the construction of discipline culture; there are not significantly different in values and attitudes of Disciplinary Culture between the participants with different genders; there are significant differences in the knowledge of the core of Disciplinary Culture between the participants with different ages; the title of the participant is much higher, the more likely to consider the core of disciplinary culture as system culture, the lower the title, the more likely to see it as behavior culture and Show a tendency to diversify; expect of the contact of the concept of disciplinary culture, there are significant differences in views of it between the participants with different types of subjects. And Proposed Factor model which impact the construction of discipline culture, identified the importance of various factors:the greatest influence followed by academic leaders, academic teaching and research, academic management, academic exchanges, academic echelon,discipline system.(5) Based on the deeply analyses of the relationship between university management and cultural construction of discipline, the status and role of disciplinary culture in the university management was revealed. Strategies and implementation methods about the construction of the disciplinary culture were put forward. Discipline is the foundation of university management, the university management complies with the disciplinary culture, and the disciplinary culture guides the activities of university management. The cultural construction of discipline should combine all the forces from spirit culture, system culture, behavior culture and material culture to boost the core competitiveness of the university.The cultural construction strategies includes the adaptation of university organizational structure, the establishment of the system of academic exchange and the coordination between administrative power and academic power.
