In recent years, specifically since 1997, the word EQ (Emotional Quotient) has drawn great attention increasingly in the nation-wide discussion about development of talents. For over a decade, it has been gradually accepted by people. In 2005, the word EQ has been brought into the Fifth Edition of Modern Chinese Dictionary. In academic world, doctoral dissertations about this area emerged quickly and abundantly, which implies its value of study. IQ, admittedly, is an important factor of success. More often than not, the specialties to exert lifetime influence are such factors as world outlook, value view, and personality, patience, persistence, mood and emotions etc. The cultivation of EQ lays a solid foundation for college students'sustainable development and has significant implication in constituting a harmonious society.Emotional Quotient (EQ), briefly speaking, is a person's ability to identify, impact, control his emotions and feelings with others. EQ is closely related to a series of valuable capabilities which are of great importance to modern people. Such as moral qualities, emotional adjustment, interpersonal relationship and leadership management skills. There is no college student who would not like to lead a successful life. However, in face of the selection of college students with comparable IQ by college entrance examination, the education of moral and EQ is becoming particularly important and prominent.This paper takes the essence of EQ theory from China and Western countries, and takes into consideration of the characteristics of our country's survival and cultural background. From the perspective of college students, the relationship between moral education and connotation of EQ, as well as the elements that included in EQ and capabilities is analyzed in depth and concisely. A unique EQ theory which contains five capabilities as self-awareness, self-control, self-motivation, understanding and treating is put forward in this paper. Meanwhile, taking college students'questions of morality, deficiency of EQ and analysis of causes as starting point, based on the all-round development of Marxism and Maslow's Hierarchy of Need, the all-round development of college students and the essence of gaining a successful life are studied in the paper.Based on the study of EQ theory at home and abroad, combined with the characteristics of China and group of college students, we propose our own understanding of EQ and capability frame. The theoretical frame of EQ cultivation under moral field of vision is explored systematically and deeply. Furthermore, we study the theory of college students' EQ cultivation and its development, its content extension and design, EQ's cultivation approach from aspects of EQ's connotation, elements, functions, value, characteristics and approaches. The content of EQ cultivation includes discovery of EQ, self cognition, self supervision, self motivation, developing habits of obtaining success, developing self potentials, shaping personal charisma and finally getting the key of success.This paper studies and explores the EQ education of group of college students in the moral field of vision. Based on morality and virtues, the research of this paper aims at helping college students know themselves, learn how to study, how to handle matters, how to be a man, how to cooperate with others and how to lead a meaningful life. It also equips students with righteous moral value and makes them believe that EQ is the key to success. The research of EQ education of this paper helps students regulate their emotions, inspire wisdom, activate potentials, complete their personalities and make a successful life. One should always be optimistic, keep on releasing spiritual potential and establishing himself to be a successful person with charming personality.Through our whole life, we are all learning to do things and be a true man, and exploring the path to success. As the saying goes "Founding, virtue goes first, doing, behavior goes first". When we measure a person's behavior, the consideration of morality goes first. That is say, morality weighs more than ability. If a person's morality is considered to be bad, then, however high his EQ and IQ is, he cannot be identified and approved by the society.EQ itself is a kind of wisdom, which comes from the inner power of soul and could be nurtured. Overseas, EQ is not only regarded as individual's fundamental quality but also the most significant survival ability as well as the major factor of success and happiness. In Europe and American education world, EQ education is always been taken in the key position of education and teaching activities. The president of Tsinghua University once addressed the graduates with the following words, "in the future world, direction of the effort is more important than effort itself, ability is more important than knowledge, health is more important than achievement, life is more important than certification, and EQ is more important than IQ!" Zhihong Xu, the president of Peking University also mentioned the importance of EQ in the speech of the "reconstruction of university spirit", he stressed the importance of EQ cultivation in humanistic spirits developing.The situation of EQ education and current college students' morality require the organic combination of moral education and EQ cultivation. In this way EQ cultivation could play an important role in regulating and instructing moral education and meanwhile moral education could be exerted in promoting and orienting EQ cultivation.The key problem of EQ cultivation under moral field of vision lies in the harmony of moral education and EQ cultivation. Thus, the study of EQ education in this paper is put under the field of moral. In this way the contents of moral education are exuded in every section of the whole EQ research. Abiding by the law of moral going first and moral being the essence, the EQ cultivation of college students is studied. Moral education and EQ cultivation complement each other, which could better embody the education ethos of "students oriented" and enhance the overall quality of students.The value of EQ cultivation research under the moral field of vision lies in enhancing the students' morality, cultivating students' emotional quality, extending students'vision, exploring students' potential, improving abilities to adapt society. It could also guide students to establish righteous values and cherish opportunities, encourage them to adopt a correct view to face chances and setbacks, and finally direct them to navigate towards a brilliance life.
