Radically speaking,where the fortune of millions of children and their parents' expectation,dream and anxiety are concerned is what is taught,can be taught and should be taught as well as how things are taught in class. This dissertation is the one focusing on the questions above which have happened since 1949,and the author names which the "educational idealization.The basic point of view in this dissertation is that,from 1949,there has been the severe educational idealization in China.Educationl idealization is such a fact that the educationl ideal devised by minority according to their will is absolutized and generalized,meawhile a perfect "modality of relation" living in imaginary world is given,and consequently,the educated are coercionary displaced from their original position and put in the given "modality of relation". The nature of the educationl idealization is the dissimilation of the educated under the power and authority. The fact of educationl idealization is that the educated would divorce from the flesh and blood,from the possibility of their development,and would be cultivated the sort of people with perfect personality that can not be seen hi the real world. The perfect personality is the two types of "saint":"political saint" and "expert saint".The pursit of the"political saint" occurred from 1949 to the end of "the cultural revolution";and the "expert saint" has been in favour since the end of "cultural revolution". The two types of "saint" is the working result based on the knowledge of relations in the practical people who belong to the certain living field in the phase of this history,especially on the knowledge in the people who possess the dominant position in the field. Thereout we know that the factors determining the growing of the mode of the educationl idealization and the prosess of the idealization are two:one is the power,and the other is the thinking foundation by which the one with the power realizes the power.The author takes it that the thinking foundation is the outcome in China where is a certain field. This thinking foundation is Chinese traditional philosophy,mostly is the Confucianism. It influnces consciousness and unconsciousness of people in dailly way and forms the special interosculation with the way of the power's working during the time the Confucianism works.One of the important means to realize the power is education for the people who hold the powerful position and possess the power. The power gets to its objects by giving the mode of valid personality by and through the educationl. Thereby a dynamic system composed of power,philosophy and education would grow up. In it,the determing factor is the power that dominates the rest factors in the social field. It gives each subordinate educational mode as well as the general one.From what has been discussed above,the author comes to the conclusion of the reason of educational idealization that,educational idealization is the certain educational result of inter-working of the power,philosophy and education in certain space-time field. Theunequal power is the essential factor within the system.Anyhow,it still remains a question that what sort of personality is welcomed at present. The author's opinion on it is that,the education in China should regress to the reality,should cultivate the practical civilian persons with the spirit of freedom.
