Socialization Crisis And Its Solutions

"Socialization crisis", the conception made by this dissertation, is one of the basic points incisive to the Chinese current educational problems, as well as the cognized standing point of this dissertation. Therefore, the problem about how to result in the "socialization crisis" transforms to the logic problem about why to result in it. Another word constructed in this dissertation is "socialization mode" which makes an attempt to solve the origin of "the socialization crisis", as a result that realizes the task of the theoretical construction to "the socialization crisis" and the solutions to the Chinese current socialization crisis.This dissertation adopts the specialized "social system", that is, "the Chinese society" as the observant unit, and the "socialization mode" as the observant perspective, and explores the causes that the socialization crisis comes into being and its counter-outcome by explaining and testifying the similarity and dissimilarity among the traditional China, modern China, China in years of 1949-1956, China in periods of 1957-1976 and transforming China. According to the fruits of this research, this dissertation concludes and abstracts pertinent theoretical propositions about "historical socialized experience" on the basis of rhe different stages in the Chinese society by employing the logic constructed on the "root-grounded theory", that is,empirical observation-empirical generalization-theoretical propositions, andthen discusses the solutions and strategies to the problem about "socialization crisis" in China.The fruits of this research consist of five perspectives:l.The traditional Chinese society is under the category of "the ethical-collective-valued socialization mode", that is, "the socialization mode of the ethical integration" producing "the socialiazation result of ethical integration".2. The modern China witnesses "the disintegration of the ethical-collective-valued socialization mode", that is, "the socialization mode of the ethical anomie" causing "the socialization crisis of the ethical anomie".3. China in years of 1949-1956 belongs to "the political-collective-valued socialization mode", that is, "the socialization mode of the political integration" producing "the socialization result of the political integration".4.China in periods of 1957-1976 appears "the disintegration of thepolitical-collective-valued socialization mode", that is, "the socializationintegration of the political anomie" bringing about "the socialization crisis of the political anomie".5. Transforming China is the category of "the collective-valued disintegration" and stepping into the category of "the economical-individual-valued socialization mode", that is, "the conflict socialization mode" resulting in "the conflict socialization crisis".Based on these fruits above, this dissertation constructs three "socialization theories":Propositions of "generalized socialization theory" suggested from the macro-level: (1) the socialization mode is the determinant factor that affects the results of socialization; (2) the socialization mode is also the basic factor that has impacts on the educational mode; (3) the result of socialization has the counter-effect to the educational mode and socialization mode.Propositions of "socialization theories" suggested from the level of the social system: (1) the degree of integration to the socialization mode has influence on integration of socialization; (2) the degree of anomie to the socialization mode has influence on the degree of anomie socialization; (3) the degree of conflict to the socialization mode has influence on the crisis degree of the conflict socialization.Propositions of "socialization theories"suggested from the level of the educational system: (1) the degree of integration to the education mode has influence on integration to the result of socialization; (2) the degree of anomie to the education mode has influence on the degree of anomie socialization; (3) the co...
