To take "criticism and construction of science spirit and reasonableness of education research" in Chinese traditional culture and realistic context, in view of the cultural philosophy, based on the confidence of the history consecution of humanism and scientism, and with to the interaction and integration of "human" and "culture", this paper adopt whole, dynamic and relational thinking, to look for innovation and breaking in discussing "the relationship between education science and the development of educational knowledge and practice", "the cultural being of education science", "the value of the education science", "the cultural characteristic of Chinese traditional cultural thinking and education research", "the road pursued science spirit to manage modernity of education research of China", "the possible road pursues science spirit and reasonableness of education research in contemporary China ".The time spirit which the education theories and practice depend on provided abundant soil and nutritious ness for education science whose existence based on the inside demand of the human nature and whose development be prompted by the opening and liberation of human nature. Be a kind of cultural process, the education science promote education knowledge and theories and practice through pursuing, urging the mankind's education fulfillment life in" ideal", marching forward to" possibility". Along the reasonableness research tradition of the ancient Greece and the practice research direction of Rome, in the modern society, education science, which is deeply in the western culture and the objective thinking, with its conscious dynamic role, along pursuing whole to integrate the internal logic harmony and the exterior experience proof, embodies profoundly the cultural spirit characteristic as the interactive and integration between "human" and "culture" by the process "from human to culture" based on "make people the center". According to the spirit of "knowing", the reasonableness of "theories" and the "objective-subjective" thinking mode, the education science, as a "symbolize" process, express a mighty properties as "by human" and "for human" in the process of to educational study. In view of pursuing "exterior verified" and "the inner logical complete", with spirit of practice, according to the practice direction based on the tool property and the technique direction it possess', by providing the solution to education problem, the education science first achieve the utility value as controls and guides education practice; Then bring about spirit value as realizing truth, pursuing good and seeking after beauty, by the pure research, according to rational cognition and creativity.There are marked differences between Chinese traditional education research and western education science because of Chinese traditional"feeling thinking" which emphasize the adjustment of human conformance to culture and the restrict to human by culture according the process "from culture to human" based on " making culture the center". The Chinese core academic thought -"nature and man unite as one"- have a strong ethical claim. Although there has a thought "study thoroughly", the moral supremacy dominates it. Traditionally, China had few other methodology to acquire express and develop education knowledge except of practice and reading because of the ancient doctrine inside and the inhibit gives by feudalism system and enhance provided from imperial examination system outside. Since 1840s, under the impact of western science civilization, the modernization of Chinese traditional culture-in which exists two logical arrangement roads: one is the road of "outside conversion" as "completely westernization" according to "the mechanism of adjustment" under the inspiration of democracy and sciences; one is the road of "inside conversion" as "making Chinese culture center" that the new Confucianism tries to continue "the mechanism of assimilation"-have become the main topic that Chinese together face in modern age.
