A Study On Further Cognition And The Improvement Of Leisure Sports In China

Scientific technique and human life have developed dramatically since 20th century. Now people have more spare time, more creature comfort and more ' modern civilized sickness', which troubled their health.Much spare time provides a necessary reason for leisure, the development of economy, which gives a material base for leisure movement, enables more options for people's leisure, 'modern civilized sickness' urges people to pursuit, on their own initiative, an active and healthy living style. All the factors above have draw leisure into people's life even without their knowing it.People have different ways to spend their free time. Sport, for its beyond-comparison participial value, is people's important choice when they are free since the springing up of leisure movement.While leisure sport is developing prosperously, much emphasis has been put on the study of sports theory. Most of these applied studies are practicable to the leisure sports in Chinese public, and at the same time, these studies have, unavoidably, some flaws. First, the depth of the theory is a little moderate. 'Culture and studies of it are the unique way that people understand the world. Humans, by their own way---culture, stepped into practical movement, became the owner of practice and then got enhanced and liberated by owning themselves.' Therefore, the study of this problem from the angle of culture will enable people to understand themselves more accurately, to know the essential rules of the world, to inherit, develop and create with a rational attitude and spirit. Leisure sport is a kind of culture. We can not understand it completely unless we view it through the angle of culture while researching. Second, most studies before focused on only one point or one phenomenon thus practical problems lied in the development of leisure sport were solved. But this stable and single study method is not suitable for prefiguring the development and instincts of leisure sports. In Marxism, all things around the world are connected with each other and have different developing rules for their various relationships. It's the mission of science to study the different rules of objects. Materialist dialectics acts like an instructor to sports at any time, suchas giving a scientific Weltanschauung, acknowledging and thinking process. Hence, the study of leisure sports must based on Marxism's materialist dialectics that the world is interconnected and developing, and this is the only way to a better understanding of the leisure sports' connotation and characteristic.The dissertation, supported by culture, industry and education, adopts methods like literature reviewing, investigating, questionnaire, and logical analysis etc. for the intensive study of leisure sports. The conclusions of this dissertation are as follows:1. Casting our mind back to the history of mass sports, we can see that leisure sport is not new but people's acknowledgment of multi-value sports, and we adopt sport to make up our flaws caused by the development of modern society.2. There are many differences, affected by main culture, between orient and western sports culture. But the two kinds of sport are people's choice in their leisure time because they have something in common on the game's essence, the pursuiting of peace and fair culture and the idea of shaping a perfect personality3. The active, creative, multi-purpose and outdoor leisure sports decided that, in order to accommodate to government and society, the administrative system of mass sports must be established.4. The interaction between industry and culture chooses leisure sport industry as a new way to develop leisure sport culture, which is also supported and impelled by it. We must consider humanism, deferent view of cultural value and the development of ethical sport culture when we try to develop leisure sport industry, which will exert its impelling effects on leisure sport culture.5. The cultural expanding function of education connected the development of leisure sport and education. College has the qualifications, and it is also necessary, to put the education of leisure sport into practice, and that is the best period for it.6. Society will need more and more specialists on leisure sport with the prosperity of mass sport. It is necessary and feasible to train specialists of leisure sport in P.E. college or university. According to foreign experience, we must add the specialists' training to the major of social sports in P.E. college or university.
