The Study Of Leisure Constraints And Leisure Participation In Sport Leisure Form The Perspective Of Gender Theory

With the development of society,sports leisure has become a very important part in the leisure field.Under the background that national fitness has become a national strategy,the diversified social functions of sports leisure are also being more explored and expanded.As a recreational activity that combines entertainment,fitness,intelligence,motivation and aesthetics,it can be said that from the individual level to the national level,the various positive effects brought by sports leisure are generally recognized.However,there are many restrictive factors in the realistic situation of sports leisure participation.At the same time,it can be found from the realistic situation and the existing literature conclusions that the sexism has also been significant in the field of sports leisure,which affects both leisure constraints and leisure participation in sport leisure.According to the original restriction theory,leisure constraints consist of personal constraints,interpersonal constraints and the structural constraints,which together have a negative impact on leisure participation.Therefore,starting from the perspective of social gender theory,this study will firstly explore the relationship between sports leisure constraints(intrapersonal constraints,interpersonal constraints and structural constraints)and sports participation base on the original leisure constraints theory.Secondly,using the ambivalent sexism in psychology as a moderator to study the moderating effect of sexism(hostile sexism and benevolent sexism)on sports leisure constraints-sports leisure participation relationship.On the basis of literature research,the sample data collected by questionnaire survey,and confirmed the reliability and validity of the data by reliability test,exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis.Subsequently,using SEM path analysis,correlation test and regression analysis to explore the correlation between sports leisure constraints and sports leisure participation.And then,multi-group analysis and hierarchical regression analysis are used to verify the moderating effect of sexism on sports leisure constraints-sports leisure participation.The conclusions are as follows:(1)For correlated relationships,sports leisure constraints have a significant direct negative impact on sports leisure participation,in which intrapersonal constraints have a significant direct negative impact on sports leisure participation;Structural constraints have a significant direct negative impact on sports leisure participation.However,interpersonal constraints are not related to sports leisure participation.(2)As for the moderating effect of sexism,sexism has a significant moderating effect on the relationship between sports leisure constraints and sports leisure participation.Hostile sexism has no significant moderating effect on the structural constraints-sports leisure participation;Benevolent sexism has a significant positive moderating effect on intrapersonal constraints-sports leisure participation;Benevolent sexism has a negative moderating effect on the structural constraints-sports leisure participation.Finally,the theoretical enlightenment of the research conclusion in the field of sports leisure is further discussed and relevant suggestions are put forward.
