Family and school are the two main pillars for the healthy growth of children.These two factors are interrelated and cannot exist at the expense of another.Sometimes they work independently while sometimes they need to work closelytogether in order to ensure the whole person development for children in terms ofpsychological need, learning and morality and the way of getting along with peopleetc. Through the close cooperation of the family and school, it helps children's growthcomprehensively. According to the parents' accumulated understanding to theirchildren since they were kids, teachers can acquire information about students'development at their early childhood and give appropriate guidance according tochildren's individual difference. Parents can also know their children's accumulatedperformance in school through their teachers, which complement and ensure a betterfamily education. The educational value of family and school collaboration is toconsolidate the moral standard and healthy development of the youths. It brings aboutsome educational functions such as prevention and remedy to teenagers' deviantbehavior. Meanwhile, a close collaboration of both parties brings a profound effect tochildren's self-development, ethical development and the constant upgrade of parents'educational standard.As the society changes, undoubtedly, the educational function of family and school is being challenged and becomes weaker. Therefore, living in this era of advanced technology, the adults and the youths' educational level is continually improving. Family and school cannot work independently but adjust to the society...
