Study On Characteristics Of Volleyball Athletes' Intelligence

The intelligence of the athletes has close relationship with talents selection, training and even the athletes'performance, so the research in this field is both meaningful and valuable. However at present, because of the singleness of the evaluation methods, that is the traditional paper-pencil test, the research lacks in the discussion of theories and is not deep enough.On the basis of the systematic review of the domestic and foreign researches on the athletes'intelligence, this research uses questionnaires to decide the intelligence characteristics of the volleyball athletes'intelligence. Moreover, using the improved Raven ratiocination test and the research model of decision making, attention and visual metacognition in cognitive psychology, this research makes new experimental studies on the cognitive characteristics of the volleyball athletes'intelligence. In the part of the experimental studies, using the test system which is based on DMDX software, the author tested and made comparison research on the characteristics for ratiocination, decision making, attention and visual metacognition of the first class volleyball athletes, the students whose major is physical education and the students whose major is not sports. The results show that the differences on the four cognitive characteristics for different groups'subjects are not the same. The detailed results of the investigation and the experimental studies are as follows:1.Compared with the students whose major is physical education and the students whose major is not sports, first class volleyball athletes have different intelligence characteristics which embody in simply rapid reasoning, quick and accurate decision-making, quick attention and accurate metacognition.2.The improved Raven Standard Test materials, the research model of rapid decision-making, change blindness and change blindness blindness model can be made as the model of studying the intelligence characteristics of the volleyball athletes. Meanwhile this can be the reference for the intelligence research of the athletes in other fields.3. The results of the analyses show that the test of the intelligence characteristics of volleyball athletes has certain practical value in volleyball athletes'psychologically selection and training.
