Preparing for 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games,core human resource of track and field development and management has become an important issue, which had to be researched and soluted.It means great to the achievement of 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games.The purpose of this research is to construct a system of core human resource development and management in 2008 Beijing Paralympic track and field Games.Based on human resource development and management(HRDM),the author proposes some ways to achievement in 2008 Beijing Paralympic track and field Games.The research can also provide a theory reference for 2008.It comes to some conclusions as followed:1.During the team of preparing for 2008 Beijing Paralympic track and field Games,the athletes and couches are the core human resouce. The coach is main chain in competitive sports.They are principal part in the process of the training.Athletes are subject consciousness.2.Through analysis the competitive situation of 2008 Paralympic Games is:Chinese Track and Field of the people of disable develop quickly and have already hope in the future to keep the first position further; The position of American is weaken gradually and the traditional country Australia still keeps developing,two countries competitive ability are near to China;The competitive ability of South Africa,Canada and England continuously strengthens;Other nations like Ukraine,Czech Republic, Russia,Poland and Japanese etc.country are quickly also growing and have already hoped to become a strong opponent in Track and Field of the people of disable.The competition of the item would be more and more vigorous and the gold medal distributes to more and more scatter.3.Through analysis and combine expert's opinion,the target of our country in 2008 Pralympic Games is to gain 47 medals and 20 gold medals. 4.Through investigation the core human resource of Track and field of our country,we found that the coaches age structure,educational background structure and title structure of our country are not enough reasonable,existing low educational background,ripe age and high professional rank.Athlete cultural's degree is lower and the item distributes unbalance.5.There hasn't been some unified test-program and standard in the selection and appointment.The recruiters are made of different kind of persons,often,they are not trained and not led powerfully.6.Overall,the trainings of coaches are getting more and more formal, but some problems still exist in the understanding,the funding,the institution,the content and the method.7.There are some problems in the core-HR motivation system:the low income level of coaches and athletes;encouragement principle rigidity; the lack of long-term motivation;the random use of motivation.
