On the background of globalization, how to face problems exsiting in the moral education and in which forms to carry out moral education in colleges concern the academic world of moral education. In the process of moral education, the relation between individual life and moral education, as the basis of all problems, constitutes the problem frame of moral studies in colleges. The paper tries to survey life and moral education in the historic progression of cultural transmission in which it starts from life and then goes deep into all kinds of moral problems exsiting in the moral education in colleges. It uncovers life meanings of traditonal moral education from the aspect of cultural transmission to explore modern meanings and values of traditional moral education. It also tracks the transmission and the continuity of life in modern society to go farther to deep-seated structure of individual life stired by moral education in colleges on basis of the analysis of problems exsiting in object, environment, content and method of d moral innovation in colleges.The train of thoughts in the paper is as follows. It starts from the relation between life and moral education in the analysis of the essential attribute of life and the spiritual nature of moral education in the cultural-psychological aspect, then to all kinds of problems existing in the moral object, moral process and moral evaluation in view of life consideration in order to find out cultural-psychological reasons, then to life meaning contained tradition morality from three aspects of moral concept, moral content and moral methods to provide historical and cultural foundation for the integration of life and moral education, and in the end to the systemic system of the innovation moral education a practice from four aspects of moral object, moral content, moral environment and moral strategy according to life practice as the chief object.Theory is the origin and also the guidance of practice. It is valuable to bring the relation and moral education into the status quo of moral education in colleges. The paper adopts positive methods to find problems existing in moral education in colleges from three aspects of moral objects, moral contents and moral evaluation. From the angle of view of life, there are some problems such as unitary pursuing, adaption and harmony in the moral object, one-sidedness, above life and above experience in the moral process; no subjects, unreasonable resources collocation and unitary moral evaluation in the moral benefit.Due to continuous development of moral education we should survey problems in moral education in macroscopical historical horizon. In view of life, problems existing in moral education in colleges have the traits of cultural transmission and historical continuum and analysis of traditional moral life meanings have realistic meaning. We first analyze life levels, the origin and the connotation of traditional morals in view of the concept, and then to filial piety, the combination of loyal and filial piety, love caused by feeling of traditional moral in view of the content in order to find out physical and spiritual, individual and social, limited and superior life integrations of traditional morals, and in the end to the influence of traditional moral education on respect and stimulation of individual life from three aspects of moral values, educational methods and educational objects in view of methods.The theoretic construction should be put into practice of moral education in colleges. On basis of the analysis of the status quo of moral education in colleges and of life meaning of traditional, the paper finally puts forward a systemic system of moral education in colleges such as emotional influence as the object, life world as the environment, the opening process as the target and the dialogue as the strategy from four aspects of moral object, moral process, moral environment and moral strategy in which life in the innovation in colleges is embodied.
