Study On Leisure Sports Education For Urban Pupils

With social progress and development as well as building a well-off society, our country has entered the leisure time. However, the study on the leisure theory, especially for pupil's leisure sports has been far lagging behind. Children are masters of the country's future and the nation's hope, to strengthen the research on implementation of leisure sports education will undoubtedly have a far-reaching strategic significance and highly practical significance.The reference review, questionnaire, qualitative research method, experimental method of teaching and statistics methods are used in the study. Based on the theory of overall development of human and the theory of lifelong sports, and on the study of the references of domestic and international leisure and leisure education, the paper studied the status quo of leisure sports of urban pupils. The value and the mode of leisure sports education theoretically for urban pupils was also studied. The strategy of leisure sports education for urban pupils is studied too.Leisure sports education is defined as a whole course of utilizing leisure time effectively, improving the quality of life and all-round personality by the way to introduce sports leisure knowledge, skills and techniques, and to guide people (pupils) to establish a scientific leisure sports values, as well as physical activities.It has the effects of promotion of the physical and mental freedom, health, overall development and rational use of their leisure time and enhancing the value of the spiritual realm to implement leisure sports education to urban pupils.The satisfaction of urban pupils for their leisure life is low because of their over-burdened, Some of primary and secondary school students did not reasonably use of leisure time, which was occupied by watching television, internet chatting, playing video games. Sports is not really the leisure activities for pupils. It is less for urban pupils to participate in leisure sports in frequency and duration.The main factors to impact urban pupils to participate in leisure sports are: academic pressure, the knowledge related to leisure and sports activities, skills factors, facilities factors, economic conditions as well as the leisure sport of the cognitive and motivation to participate in leisure sports. In addition, the attitudes of the school , family and community on leisure and sports activities, and atmosphere of the campus leisure sports and culture may also affect urban pupils involved in leisure sports.The majority of pupils are willing to participate in leisure sports, and have strong demand. However, for reasons of high pressure of study, shortage of time for leisure sports, the unreasonable use of leisure time, shortage of reasonable surrounding environment for leisure sports and other factors such as shortage of awareness for leisure sports in parents and teachers, the formation of awareness of leisure sports and the opportunity to experience the leisure and sports activities was constrained. So that it has important to raise parents sports awareness and advocacy of parents lead their children to participate in leisure sports activities, in order to improve the participation rate of primary and secondary school students.Leisure sports education can strengthen the pupils'leisure sports values, change them leisure sports attitude, and promote to format good leisure sports behavior. leisure sports education can ensure pupils the valuable psychological experience, and provide a guarantee for their lifelong habit of physical exercise and enjoy the high quality life. It is of great significance to apply leisure sport education for pupils. We should put more energy to strengthen its publicity and guidance. We should put more in construction on leisure sports education theoretically and practically, and set up a leisure sports education mode which perfectly fit with our national conditions gradually by actively innovating and expanding the methods and channels for implementation of leisure sports education. The continuum of "School - Family - Community" of leisure sports education is an effective model in cultivating pupils to become mentally sound, perfect personality and love for learning and life.The strategic objectives for Chinese urban primary school physical education recreation are that we should ensure each pupil has the opportunity to enjoy the fun of recreational sports, and that much attention from the community to form a perfect leisure sports education system. The schools, families, community-based leisure sports education system should be formed, and the mutual support system from experts of the practice and of theory should be formed too.The sports leisure education strategy in China's urban primary school are that the multiple channels should be used to strengthen education and publicity of leisure sports, to guide the social institutions to participate leisure physical education actively, and that government should provide policy guidance and financial support to form sustainable development in sports leisure education of school and enterprises in mutual benefit and reciprocity way. We should enhance the nurturing of leisure sports education teachers, and to make great efforts to train leisure sports education instructors, and to make good use of school as the main positions in leisure sports education. We should enhance the study on of the system of sports leisure education, and establish sports leisure education model suitable for our country's urban primary school.
