| In November,2009, the State Council formally approved ’the planning outline of Tumen River Area’s cooperative Development---with Chuangchun-Yanji-Tumen as Forerunner Areas’. Therefore,Yanbian area, as the core area, should catch this chance of a lifetime tomake full use of its advantages, and accelerate the development of leisure sports activities and leisure sports industries scientifically. And then it is necessary to establish mode of leisure sports, which is a scientific and fits the features of this region, and carry out pertinent measures.The leisure sports in Yanbian Prefecture develop in a slow speed. And there are problems such as a lack of leisure sports awareness, backward leisure sports facilities, inadequate investment in leisure sports industry, and an unqualified administration and so on. Besides, the government did not give explicit plans or policies on accelerating leisure sports. Consequently, it is of much significance to research on how to establish leisure sports mode based on the situation of Yanbian Prefecture in order to accelerate the development of leisure sports, society and economy.This paper, taking the situation of leisure sports in Yanbian Prefecture as the research object, analyzed the situation of inhabitants’ participation in leisure sports and relevant factors, consulted and analyzed relevant literatures, and investigated cases of successful leisure sports modes overseas and their enlightenment. Based on such preparations, this paper proposed a mode of leisure sports that fits the requirements from inhabitants in Yanbian area. Hope the conclusion of this paper will be a theoretical reference to the development of leisure sports and relevant industries in Yanbian area. |
