During the process, "oneness of nature and man", "unity of knowledge and action", "masculine and feminine theory", "Tai-chi theory", "five elements theory", traditional Wushu virtue and some excellent national spirits have been embodied in the Chinese Wushu. So, we can say that Chinese Wushu contains the kernel of Chinese traditional culture, embody the basic spirit of Chinese nation and overflowed with China traditional culture factors.In the background of globalization, Chinese national traditional culture faces great opportunities and challenges. The culture communion and culture conflict make it vital that culture up to date need to be integrated, the "culture hegemony" arising from western has endangered other countries' culture safety. The era compel us have to keep high level "culture consciousness". In this kind of history era and international environment, Chinese Wushu need to inherit China traditional culture, on the other hand, it have to met lots of challenges and opportunities which are provided by west countries. Today, excellent Chinese traditional culture dying away gradually, Wushu as a precious heritage should make wise decision for its future.Reviving Chinese nation is our goal and an age-old dream. Because the Wushu carry on the profound traditional national culture and national spirit, so it's very important to inherit and to develop the Chinese nation's excellent traditional culture through Wushu. Reviving the Chinese nation need the support of nation spirit, while the nation spirit reflected from Wushu is exactly the soul of great revivification of Chinese nation. Modern Wushu not only carry on the historical mission of inheriting and propagating the Chinese excellent traditional culture, but also bear the historical mission of reviving the Chinese nation at a deeper level.At present, the conflict between eastern and western culture becoming more drastic, the Olympic culture provide a terrace and a new way to improve the culture cooperation and mutually development of eastern and western culture. The competitive Wushu make progress quickly with the Olympic movement spreading into China. The Chinese Wushu which have the Olympic affection for about 100 years posses the character of Olympic events such as sports, competition and comparability. The Wushu didn't become the 2008 Olympic event due to being born on the wrong time, but the influence and significance to Chinese traditional culture is more important than application itself. Olympic will be open for Wushu forever. In the "post-Olympic era," Wushu will continue to shoulder the historical mission of inheriting and propagating the China traditional culture.In the practice of inheriting the Chinese nation traditional culture, modern Wushu "fulfill" extremely important historical mission. In a sense, the special status of Wushu plays an irreplaceable role. The traditional Wushu is the major arena for inheriting and propagating the Chinese traditional culture, the Wushu festival emerging one after another is the important part of inheriting and developing the traditional culture.
