The development of the highway transport system must act in accordance with this method. This thesis carries out in-depth study of the evaluation of the "resource-saving and environment-friendly" development of the highway transport systemThe whole dissertation is divided into seven parts. The first and second parts are the theoretical basis. The third to the fifth parts establish the method system. Partâ…¥is the empirical case studies and countermeasures. The seventh part is the full dissertation's summary and outlook.The first part is the introduction. This part discusses the topics'meaning and purpose of this research and related domestic and abroad researches are reviewed. This part also presents the research's main contents and methods.The second part is the basic theory of the "resource-saving and environment-friendly" highway traffic system. The concepts and theories used in this dissertation are expounded in this part. Firstly, it introduces the concept of highway. Secondly, it leads to the "two types" concept of highway transport system. Thirdly, it constructs the "two types" highway transport system development framework. Lastly, it puts forward the conceptual model and development goals of "two types" transport system.The third part uses the system theory and draws on the basic idea of sustainable development theory, from equity, continuity and coordination, to carry the "two types" systematic analysis of the development of highway transport system.The fourth part is the focus chapter. This part constructs the "two types" transport system development evaluation system. It includes three categories, namely, development level (14), development capacity (11) and development coordination (11), a total of 36 indicators. The meaning and calculation of each indicator are detailed in this part.The fifth part is also the focus chapter. A new evaluation method, "improved fuzzy AHP analysis", is put forward to evaluating the "two types" highway transport development system. The so-called improved fuzzy AHP is based on the traditional AHP and makes some improvements.Partâ…¥is the empirical analysis. This section is the application of the presented theoretical evaluation method in this dissertation. It selects the highway transport in Wuhan as a case. Based on the data from 2003 to 2007 of Wuhan highway transportation system, the presented theories and methods are carried in practical application. Finally, suggestions and policies are proposed to improve Wuhan's "two types" highway transport system development.Partâ…¦is the full dissertation's summary and outlook. This part summarizes the contents, the innovations, the inadequacies and what we should continue to study in the future.
