The Study On Urban Functional Diversity Of Capital Cities In China

Urban function is that the city in a country or a region bears the tasks and role in political, economic, cultural and other aspects and also refers that the city should possess the role and capacity the social and economic development. Urban function type and intensity ften subject to local natural environment, economic base, development policies, location condition, history culture and other factors,the continue change on these factors affect the change on urban function type and intensity,so the appropriate study of urban functions in time and space series analysis urban functions intensity and type,and then concludes the corresponding distribution law and the change trend, the distribution law and the change trend provides the corresponding basis for improving the urban functions and regional development.The paper proceeds related research in time and space series such as 30 capital cities(The paper does not consider Lhasa dued to data) in China.Firstly the article from national angle analyzes the diversity on urban function evolution, functional types evolution and urban functions spatial distribution evolution by using location quotient scoring method, the Gini coefficient method, factor analysis method and Arcgis method,and finds corresponding conclusions.Secondly by using location quotient scoring method the article analyzes the capital ciities functions diversity on total urban functions and part urban functions in time series between the four major regions in China,and finds total functions and part function variation laws on capital city by using diversity analyze. Thirdly the article analyzes the diversity on total functions and part functions of capital cities in the four major regions by using location quotient scoring method,standard deviation method,and finds the variation laws and diversity of capital cities on total urban functions and part urban functions in every region.Finally the article accordingly adjusts and perfects capital urban functions according to diversity laws analyzed.The article study deeply and systematically urban fuctions under the perspective of regional development from home and abroad theories and methods.
