Since the new century, due to the rapid development of China's equipment manufacturing industry, and its strategic position in national economy is more and more important, but some cluster appears instability and even signs of recession. How to maintain sustainable development, and master bottlenecks of evolution, and strategies to overcome bottlenecks has become the concern of many scholars. At present, the evolution theory of equipment manufacturing industry are studied mainly by normative analysis, the stability of mathematics biological theory in industrial organization field lacks theoretical, systematic and empirical. The paper hopes deeply study how the enterprises grow by existing industrial organization theory and evolutionary economics, and according to structure simulation and qualitative analysis, proposes bottlenecks between enterprises and how to overcome them.The paper intends to solve the following five problems:first, how the equipment manufacturing industry as a ecosystem develops; second, how the coexistence enterprises and symbiotic enterprises develop is good to collaborative evolution; third, the paper will explain dynamic relationship between two competing enterprises and cooperative enterprises, and what is the prospects under different roles; fourth, the paper will select appropriate parameter values to propose bottlenecks of cooperation evolution and enlightenment of how to overcome it; fifth, the paper will curve fit the tracks of several equipment manufacturing industries, and forecast the trend of evolution.The paper mainly adopts the methods of structure simulation and economic analysis, normative analysis and empirical analysis:first, through parameter settings of dynamic competition and collaborative symbiosis models, use structure simulation simulate the process of evolution, and analyse its economic significance; second, use cooperation evolution model of equipment manufacturing industry, empirically analyse the tracks of China's equipment manufacturing industries, and forecast the trends.The major points and conclusion is as follows:First, the evolution of equipment manufacturing industry can be seen as the evolution of enterprises and their surrounding environment (including the political environment, economic environment, geography environment,etc.). The more complex and diverse of enterprises, the more stable the ecosystem, the more conductive to the development and growth, and the greater the contribution to economic growth.Second, use case analysis to show coexistence and symbiotic of the internal enterprises in gathering area is good to cooperation evolution of the system.Third, the final state is due to intensity of competition, degree of cooperation and market capacity, but besides the factors, the tracks of enterprises are closely related to their initial size, natural growth rate. How the enterprises with different initial scale and competitive advantages adjust their development strategy will directly impact the evolution of their own.Fourth, according to cooperation evolution model of equipment manufacturing industry, curve fit the tracks of several equipment manufacturing industries, and further grasp present stage of development, and forecast the development trends of the industries.Fifth, Under different parameters of structure simulation, that the internal enterprises of the system appear different evolution tracks proposes the enlightenment of overcoming the bottlenecks of equipment manufacturing industry, including appropriate competition, strengthen cooperation, enhance the environment carrying capacity, improve ability of independent innovation and maintain stability of the system.
