Research On The Interactive Relationship Of Industrial Clusters And Regional Economic Competitiveness, Nanjing, China

The development of regional industry cluster proved that industrial cluster can promote regional economic effectively and improve the comprehensive competitiveness of area. At the same time, enhance regional economic competitiveness will further promote the cluster of related advantages industrial. They have important theoretical value and practical significance that research the mechanism of interaction between industry cluster and regional economic and measure its relevance quantitatively. This thesis researches the mechanism of interaction between industry cluster and regional economic, and researches how to measure its relevance and development trend. At last, we apply the results of a series of theoretical innovation in empirical study of interaction between industrial cluster and regional economic competitiveness in Nanjing. Main achievements in this thesis are as follows:(1) This thesis analyses the development status of industrial clusters and regional development of economic competitiveness in Nanjing. In this paper, the status of industrial agglomeration in Nanjing is analyzed from the aspects of basics, opportunities, characteristics and problems. Analyze the superiority and problems of regional economic competitiveness according to the comparison between Nanjing and other developed cities outside Jiangsu province. It shows the status of industrial clusters and regional economic competitiveness.(2) This thesis puts forward an improved degree of Grey Slope Incidence, theoretically proves that this incidence degree has reached the pertinence, symmetry, uniqueness and comparability, and establishes an analyzed module based on the improved Grey Slope Incidence degree. Proposed recursion solutions and optimized method of Unbiased Grey Prediction Model, and get two basic unbiased models and four optimized models. The optimized results based on different initial conditions show that two kinds of optimized methods have the same simulate prediction value under the same guide line. These have enriched and developed quantitative analysis theory of the interaction between industrial cluster and regional economic competitiveness.(3) Empirical research of the interaction between industrial cluster and regional economic competitiveness in Nanjing has been studied here. Firstly, this thesis analyzes the inter-simulative effect mechanism between industrial cluster and regional economic competitiveness, and establishes the conceptual model and indicator system of the interaction. And then calculates the degree of industrial cluster and regional economic competitiveness in Nanjing by the way of factor analysis, measures the interactivity between these two based on the improved Grey Incidence Analysis Model. Finally, makes use of Unbiased Grey Model UBGM ? x (1)( n)to study the development tendency of the interaction of Nanjing. The results show that there is a strong interaction between industrial cluster and regional economic competitiveness in Nanjing from 2000 to 2007, what's more, the correlation coefficient between these two increases steadily year after year. Those have been showed in three aspects as follow:â‘ output cluster and economic strength have been advanced;â‘¡production factors and economy develop export-oriented;â‘¢supporter clusters and economic vitality have been promoted. Under the actions of economic policy, the benign interaction between industrial cluster and regional economic competitiveness in Nanjing will be strengthened. It can be estimate that the correlation coefficient between industrial clusters and regional economic competitiveness from 2008 to 2012 will reach to 0.8747.(4) This thesis proposes policy proposal to advance the interaction between industrial clusters and regional economic competitiveness. Integrating the conclusions of qualitative analysis and quantitative research, there are some corresponding policy proposals proposed in industry programming, science and technology innovation, development environment constructions and so on.
