As the world goes into the era of knowledge economy, Knowledge has exceeded physical capital, financial capital and human capital to be the most critical resource of innovation. Effective dissemination of knowledge within the organization needs communication, connection, trust and sharing the same values between each other.Draw lessons from thought of"field", the theoretical relationship model of internal social capital, knowledge spiral and product innovation has been constructed based on the resource-based view, social capital theory, knowledge management theory and innovation theory. The data has been processed by the software SPSS13.0 and AMOS7.0 to validate the relationship of three kinds of constructs and the mediating effect of knowledge spiral. The innovative conclusions are as follows:First of all, product innovation has been measured from three dimensions of idea generation, idea conversion and idea diffusion based on innovation value chain, and its suitability has been validated by empirical research. Idea generation positively influenced idea conversion; furthermore, idea conversion positively influenced idea diffusion.Secondly, the relationship path model of internal social capital and product innovation value chain with knowledge spiral has been constructed by introducing knowledge spiral, that is, the relationship of each dimension of internal social capital with product innovation value chain and knowledge spiral has been validated respectively. The results show that, structural dimension does not influence every link of innovation value chain, however, positively influences knowledge spiral; cognitive dimension does not influence idea generation and idea diffusion, however, positively influence idea conversion as well as knowledge spiral; relational dimension positively influences idea generation, however does not influence idea conversion and idea diffusion as well as knowledge spiral.Thirdly, the mediating effect of knowledge spiral has been discussed and validated. Findings detect that, there are significant indirect effects of structural dimension on idea generation, idea conversion and idea diffusion through knowledge spiral; there is a significant direct effect of cognitive dimension on idea conversion, and there are significant indirect effects of cognitive dimension on idea generation, idea conversion and idea diffusion through knowledge spiral; there is a significant direct effect of relational dimension on idea generation, and there are significant indirect effects of relational dimension on idea generation and idea diffusion, however, there are neither direct nor indirect effect of relational dimension on idea conversion.In the background of Chinese localization data, the mechanism of internal social capital, knowledge spiral and product innovation value chain has been validated, and the social capital theory, knowledge management theory and innovation theory have been enriched, and a framework higher agree with local conditions has been proposed for Chinese enterprises.
