| After the analysis of classical theory and the discussion of current national economy tendency, this paper puts out the following questions:How can enterprise knowledge be effectively innovated? How can knowledge innovation effectively merge into one organism with enterprise strategic operation and business flow?From the perspective of biological evolutionism and by use of analogy analytic method, the paper initially proposes a theoretic presumption:Specialized knowledge, with the core of occupied knowledge, plays the role of enterprise gene. Organic gene determines the characters of the organism. Enterprise's gene (Occupied knowledge) determines the core competence of the enterprise and the nature of inner knowledge. Therefore, the basic question of enterprise knowledge innovation is how to realize the occupied knowledge innovation.Biological genes can be inherited and duplicated by the help of the chromosome, a successful carrier. For specialized knowledge to be effectively expressed, taught, accumulated and innovated, it needs its own carriers. And the best carrier of specialized knowledge (enterprise gene) is the business flow. In other words, an enterprise's chromosome is its business flow, and the specialized knowledge innovation must rely on the enterprise flow as a carrier.Enterprise knowledge innovation has two basic levels: the pervasion of specialized knowledge/occupied knowledge into enterprise chromosome (constructing the flow route of specialized knowledge) and knowledge mutation (continuous innovation of specialized knowledge).By way of rigid standards or elastic support, the decoding andexpression of occupied knowledge in flow is the realization of constructing the flow route of specialized knowledge, and the specialized knowledge is shared. Knowledge mutation is the continuous innovation of specialized knowledge. The two procedures are indispensable parts of enterprise knowledge innovation model.On basis of the theoretic presumption, the paper tries to construct the Spiral Enterprise Specialized Knowledge Innovation Model on the foundation of evolution biology and the case study. The model consists of model composition, guarantee implements, propelling force and supporting policy.Spiral Knowledge Innovation Model consists of five modules: two levels of activities, knowledge flow, carrier, time and the angle of innovation ability.Firstly, the two levels of activities mean i) expression and sharing, ii) static innovation. In the model, the two levels of activities have different characteristics or requirement in purpose, ways, rules and supporting implements.Secondly, at the different stages of the model, different knowledge flow will appear, mainly including outer knowledge flow, core occupied knowledge flow, specialized knowledge flow.Thirdly, business flow is the best carrier of knowledge expression, knowledge sharing, knowledge innovation, and is the best practice community (knowledge field) of enterprise knowledge.Fourthly, timely viewed, knowledge innovation activities display a continuous cycling process, and the innovation track of specialized knowledge is revealed as a spiral rising curve.Fifthly, different companies have different knowledge innovation ability. Innovation ability angel reflects the innovation ability a company owns, and the size of knowledge field determines how big the innovation angel is.After the construction of the Spiral Knowledge Innovation Model, the paper theoretically demonstrates the key points of the presumption, employing the theory of institution economics. The emphasis of the demonstration lays on the significance of knowledge sharing in the modeland the inevitability of business flow as the best carrier of knowledge sharing. The author of the paper put the research result into use in the company he serves to build and improve the knowledge innovation model. After a year's operation, the model is now primarily proved to be effective in use and reasonable in logic, and is proved to be the theory able to improve the enterprise knowledge innovation practice.For the application of the new model, a brand-new appraisal system of knowledge innovation management is designed in the paper. By use of arrangement analytic method and multilevel fuzzy synthesis appraisal method, the level of knowledge innovation management of a company or an industry can be analyzed and appraised. A case study about a large-scale iron&steel company is presented in the paper.The knowledge innovation model constructed and demonstrated in the paper still has its weakness, mainly including the lack of systematic demonstration research and no specific study in different industries.These will be the focus of the author's further research. |
