The development of knowledge economy and the more fierce competition betweenenterprises have made innovation become the indispensable important means forenterprises to obtain competitive advantage, however, individual innovation is thefoundation of organization innovation, therefore, to solve the question of “how tomotivate employees’ innovative behavior” is related to the survival and developmentof the enterprise. Previous research on organizational factors that motivate employeeinnovative behavior almost focused on organizational culture, organizationalinnovation atmosphere and leadership style, even from the perspective of network tostudy the factors that influence the employees’ innovative behavior, it is also focusedon the characteristics of network, such as the relationship strength, network locationand network centricity. But less attention has been put to study the role of socialcapital. Social capital theory pointed out that internal social capital which derivedfrom the social relations within the enterprise creates the social situation of individualbehavior, which reflects the social network links and mental environment of theindividual. Therefore, the impact on the staff is the most direct and profound, whichcan bring the changing of individual psychology and behavior.This article combines the theorical and empirical method, also combines thequalitative and quantitative method, trying to explore the relationship betweeninternal social capital and employee innovative behavior, and analyzing how theorganization members to promote its innovation behavior through the internal socialcapital. First of all, on the basis of theoretical analysis, the article put forward themodel of the theory; Then, collecting data by questionnaire survey and usingstatistical analysis software SPSS18.0and AMOS18.0to analysis data by usingstructural equation modeling. At last, the empirical results, on the one hand, verifiedthe mechanism of internal social capital’s impact on employee innovative behavior.On the other hand, it illustrated the positive influence of internal social capital toemployee innovative behavior at the mediating role of relational psychological contract and knowledge sharing. But the empirical results also show that differentdimensions of social capital within the enterprise have different influence to theemployee innovative behavior. Conclusions mainly includes the following aspects:First, the enterprise internal social capital plays a positive role on employeeinnovative behavior, but its effect on employees’ innovation is an indirect process,which affect employee innovation through relational psychological contract andknowledge sharing. Second, it verified the positive influence of social capital onemployee innovative behavior. The empirical study results show that employees’innovation behavior not only influenced by organizational innovation atmosphere,leadership style, organizational culture and other organizational factors, but alsoinfluenced by the social factors that are composed of social capital. Third, the threedimensions of social capital have different impacts on employee innovative behavior.
