The Study On Development Of Producer Services In Guangdong Province

Guangdong have made great progress in economic development and been on tops in China for many years in total output since the reform and opening. All of the countries and regions are seeking for the promotion of quality in economic development and a new round of the industrial transfer has been formed in the whole world in the continuously upgrade of European debt crisis, and down economic growth of emerged markets and developing countries. Producer services is the industry in need development that can realize the optimizing and upgrade of industries structure, the transformation of the mode of economic development, undertake the international industrial transfer from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and other developed countries and regions, and forming the long-effect mechanism to inners. Based on the promoting mechanism of producer services to regional economic development in Guangdong, formulize and discuss the theories on industry and regional economic development, empirically analyzed the spatial distribution and industrial agglomeration and cluster, the industrial linkages of producer services. Among them, theory analysis of the producer services and the development of regional economy including the industrial characteristics, industrial classification, the industrial development of the reason, etc, as far as possible, from the whole of producer services on a comprehensive grasp. The empirical analysis including the space distribution, industrial gradient development, industry linkages, and industrial cluster development of cities in the Pearl River Delta metropolitan circle of producer services in Guangdong. Summarize the existing literature and analyze the regional industries discipline of development around the topic of the producer services and in the sustainable development of regional economy, which is expected to get beneficial inspiration form the previously research and the comparative analysis of other areas to Guangdong.Overall, there are two parts in the paper: the theory analysis and empirical analysis. The theoretical part includes chapter1,2and3, focused on the analysis of producer services and the sustainable development theory of regional economic, including the definition, connotation of industry, summarizing the existing literature, analyzing the theories of regional economic development and the promoting mechanism of producer services on the regional economic development, etc. The empirical part includes chapter4,5and6; lay particular emphasis on the producer services development, space distribution and agglomeration, the industrial gradient development among the cities in the Pearl River Delta metropolitan circle, the linkages among industries, comparative study on the industrial spread effect of Guangdong and the other provinces. Based on this, analyze the developing path of the producer services in Guangdong and put forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions.The main conclusions have bed formed through the theory discussion and empirical analysis of the producer services development and the sustainable development of regional economic.Firstly, there are obvious space distribution difference among regions of producer services in Guangdong, the developing level of producer services in Pearl River Delta metropolitan circle are significantly higher than the mountains of the north and the two things, this is mainly due to the geographical location and different degree of industrialization. More than30years of reform and opening up, China's economic development strategy was adopted the mode by the east to the west, by the coast to the inland development, and that makes the level of economic development, industrial structure and the growth speed in the Pearl River Delta region ahead of the other regions. Two things and the mountains to the north should docking industrial park construction and form of producer services agglomeration and cluster depending on the current industry foundation and under the unified planning deployed, realize the change of economic development mode.Secondly, there is obvious difference of the producer services distribution among the cities in the Pearl River Delta metropolitan circle, Guangzhou, as the center city of the Pearl River Delta, has the absolute superiority in logistics, information technology, business service and scientific research industry, but there are advantages of finance, shipping industry in Shenzhen. The other cities in the Pearl River Delta circle should be based on this, planning deployed industrial policy, formed industrial gradient development; the Pearl River Delta cities form rational division and coordinated development in producer services and each segment of the industry under the background of undertaking international industrial transfer.Thirdly, it cab be found that the services are main industries in social economic structure in Beijing and Shanghai, but the second industries are still the main industries in Guangdong and Zhejiang based on the comparative analysis. The services proportions are still to be enhanced, although service industry development is rapid. In the coordinated development of regional economy, Guangdong should rely on the superior economic location, emphasizing on the development of logistics industry, increase the investment of information, scientific research and technology industries, and promote the potential of finance in Guangdong taking advantage of international center of the world through the cooperation with Hong Kong and Macao.
