Based on the analysis of the economic, social, and cultural environment in which Shanxi exchange's management system form, this article studied exchange's management from five aspects such as enterprise management, human resources management, business strategy, risk control and financial culture in the view of humanistic culture. and modern commercial bank This paper studied that how Shanxi exchange realized business development and management ascension through managing people, discussed the similarities and differences between Shanxi exchange and modern commercial bank's management, explored the internal causes which resulted in the differences from the social system and culture, and put forward corresponding path which Chinese commercial Banks can choose in the characteristic development.This paper argues that, at the aspect of enterprise management, Shanxi exchange benefited for the interests of the owner (shareholders), administrators (shopkeepers), the worker (dudes) and its clients, focusing on the harmonious cooperation between the fours to build jointly-profiting management system. At the aspect of managing human resources, Shanxi exchange took the all-round development of employees as the core, reflected the unity of personal value and exchange's development and integration of the social culture. At the aspect of management strategies, financial innovation of the exchange took humanistic culture as the essential starting point and the foothold, exchange's business operation reflects the deepening and extension of humanistic culture idea, and same trades'cooperation and competition promoted the rationalization and standardization of individual behavior. At the aspect of risk management, exchange noticed to restrain employees with moral, developing actively moral consciousness which staffs own. Exchange realized to control the "people" with guarantee, patriarchal constraints, constraints, trade rules. Exchange adopted the method of combining man control and internal control, and took the people management as the core of risk control, assisted by watermark, passwords, audit, and other means to achieve effective risk control. At the aspect of financial culture, exchange advocate the traditional culture of the justice system benefits, moderation and the way of living in harmony, paying attention to the social responsibilities, paying attention to the cultivation of one's morality to run a household to all the world.This paper argues that, essentially, the management core of exchange is the human-oriented, managing for the interests of the owner (shareholders), administrators (shopkeepers), the worker (dudes) and its clients. The starting point and foothold of exchanges'management activities is "people". Yet the core of commercial Banks'management is for value creation, to benefit maximization, with weakening attention to "person". Significant differences exist for both.For the deep reasons of the differences between exchange and modern business banks' management, this paper argues that, in the social level, the differences among agricultural society, industrial society and information society caused that exchange and modern business bank have the difference in the management emphases, method and the core ideas; In the cultural level, exchange and modern commercial bank take different values, as the value of exchange is the righteous system based on Chinese culture for which Confucian culture is representative. However, the value of modern commercial bank is interest first, corresponding to the cultural basis of western culture. Therefore the different values derived the differences of management core. This paper argues that, modern commercial bank has in the tendency of excessive profits but neglecting social responsibility and humanistic caring. Therefore this thesis suggests that Chinese commercial Banks should manage with people oriented, union of Chinese and western and to blending harmoniously and grasp thoroughly. They should introduce the advanced development mode and experience of western commercial Banks and inherit the management idea and financial culture essence of Chinese traditional finance at the same time. Thereby banks strive to find a new road which is fit for characteristic development of Chinese modern commercial banks.
