Research On Corporate Culture Construction For Commercial Banks In China

In this paper, commercial banks in China as my research topic, I used approach like comparative analysis, system analysis and etc to thoroughly discuss the study of corporate culture construction for commercial banks in China. By referencing from numerous articles, as well as showcasing the research results and practical situation of domestic and international corporate culture construction, I have summarized the concept, characteristics and functions of corporate culture construction focusing on the context of commercial banks. I discussed the evolution of corporate culture construction in our country and summarized the achievement and current situation of Chinese commercial banks’ corporate culture construction. I also analysed the causes of problems in implementing corporate culture construction in our country, with lessons learnt from the experience of foreign commercial banks. From the analysis of combining theory for corporate culture construction, foreign research studies and current situation of foreign banks, I managed to form up a comprehensive system that’s relevant to Chinese commercial bank with the hope that it will be beneficial and helpful for a sustainable corporate culture construction for commercial banks under the big environment of new realities and drastic economic reform.This paper has 6 chapters. Chapter 1 is introduction on the background and purpose of the research, conception and approach. Chapter 2 summarizes the theory and article reviews. Chapter 3 focuses on the evolution and current situation of corporate culture construction for commercial banks in our country. Chapter 4 lists out the problems and causes of corporate culture construction in our commercial banks, and shares experiences of good case practices from foreign banks. Chapter 5 discusses the suggestions on corporate culture construction for our commercial banks. Chapter 6 summarizes the entire paper.
