With the individualization, diversification and fashionization of the customer demand, the product life cycle become shorter and shorter. At the same time, the industrial work divisions become finer and finer with the development of the science and technology. Under the speed economy, the resource and ability of any enterprise are all limited. So any single enterprise is not able to finish all the products, to monopolize the market, and all processes of the product.Most enterprises often make mistakes such as the blind diversification, Short-focused policy, instant success, and scratching the surface. Because the organizations often made the comprehensive attack in the market and didn't focus their resources and abilities on a special point, their resources and abilities are short of the integration and full use. Finally, non-stop hand-dug wells but they always drink less water.Therefore, the abroad and domestic large enterprise made the deep reflection. They became to learn about that the focus strategy to return the main business is the appropriate choice of the sustainable development. For the small and medium enterprises, they have to adopt the focus strategy with the limitation of the resource end. Thus the focus strategy becomes the feasible choice of all enterprises. However, the organization must determine the definition, the key success factors, and the mechanism of them, the tactics in different stage and the performance appraisal of the focus strategy.Based on above, the dissertation is intend to define the definition, characters, actions and conditions of the focus strategy, to indentify the key success factors and their mutual action, to analyze the mechanism of the focus strategy, and to conceive the strategic performance of the focus strategy.The content of the dissertation can be concluded the follows. Chapter1 introduced the research background, aim and significance, reviewed the relevant researches, and then illustrated the research objectives, contents, methods, technical route and systematic framework. Chapter2discussed the relevant theories such as the competition strategy, the blue ocean and so on, and talked about the realization methods such as KSFs, ELF, and BSC and so on. Chapter3defined the definition, the characters, the actions and the conditions of the focus strategy. Chapter4indentified the key success factors and their mutual action with questionnaire, Delphi and statistics. Chapter5analyzed the location-oriented mechanism, the capital support mechanism, the services supporting mechanism, the talent matching mechanism and the resource integration mechanism. Chapter6concluded the strategic characters in different life cycle stage, analyzed the evolution of the competition advantage and value chain management, and then put forth the feasible choice of the focus strategy in different stage. Chapter7divided the strategic performance dimensions and established the performance indicators scientifically according to the principle of BSC, then conceived the strategic performance appraisal system according to the principle of SEM. Chapter8made an empirical application in BNBM with the relevant theories. Chapter9concluded the research content, indicated the main innovation the limitation, and then put forth the perfect advice in the future.In brief, the focus strategy research enriched the strategic choice, the strategic optimization and the strategic performance appraisal theories provide the theoretic reference and the practice base. It will be helpful to improve the organizational strategic management, enhance the dynamic competiveness.
