Under new historic conditions, the internationalization of traditional Chinese medicine industry is the strategic move of developing traditional Chinese medicine industry. From the point of view of human resources support, the purpose of it is to organize a group of special talents of traditional Chinese medicine at home and abroad through international cooperation. The key factor for traditional Chinese medicine to come into international mainstream market is to set up a team of talents of traditional Chinese medicine all over the world. This dissertation lays emphasis on the study of human resources support necessary to realize the internationalization of traditional Chinese medicine industry. It analyses the situation and structure of the human resources of traditional Chinese medicine industry in China, comments on the existing human resources in this field from the angle of adapting to the internationalization of traditional Chinese medicine industry, analyses the structure of human resources of traditional Chinese medicine in some foreign countries, makes a comparative analysis of human resources of traditional Chinese medicine between China and other countries, and in the end puts forward some suggestions on governmental human resources policy necessary for the internationalization of traditional Chinese medicine industry. The main problem of the internationalization of traditional Chinese medicine industry is that traditional Chinese medicines are not accepted by foreign countries. The reasons are as follows: First, there exists cultural differences; second, the products of traditional Chinese medicine made in China do not check with the foreign standards concerning medicines; third, the management philosophy of many enterprises producing traditional Chinese medicine is not correct. To resolve this problem, it is quite necessary to build a group of compound talents who not only master the relevant knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine, but also understand English, marketing, as well as the laws of different countries. With the aid of these talents, the cultural connation of traditional Chinese medicines could be comprehended by the foreigners and finally the traditional Chinese medicines could be accepted by them. The internationalization of traditional Chinese medicine industry depends on not only the talents cultivated in China, but also ones educated in foreign countries. For one thing, Chinese government directly establishes all kinds of colleges of traditional Chinese medicine in foreign countries; for another, Chinese government or universities cooperate with foreign famous universities in training local talents through offering the course of traditional Chinese medicine in the foreign universities. Meanwhile, it should be advocated for the high-quality talents to practice medicine abroad in order to increase the influence of traditional Chinese medicine and promote the internationalization of it.
