| With the growth of economy in China, Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) industry as the emerging industry from the combination of traditional industry and modern industry , playing a more and more important role in national economy, has gradually become one of the important industries. TCM as the national cultural heritage and an important component of medical industry made a great progress and remarkable achievements, but there are some problems such as inadequate strength on R&D and export obstruction of the product. With the new medical reform policies to encourage and support, and in order to better use of TCM industry in the national economy and raise the level of the whole industry, the paper attempts to study the key factors which affect the development of TCM industry from the industry level. Then, it alse tries to research on the performance evaluation on the representative enterprises and gives a whole and objective understanding about the development of TCM industry.Based on the research of TCM industry from home and abroad, the paper firstly systematically analyse the basic characteristics of TCM industry and the role and status in the national economy. Besides qualitative analysis, it analyses the key factors to short-term and long-term influence the industry development througth cointegration analysis and error correction model by selecting the related variables about TCM industry. On this condition, it uses DEA model analysis to objectively evaluate the performance and the development situation of TCM industry with selecting representative enterprises. Finally, according to the empirical analysis conclusions and medical powers' advanced experience, the paper puts forward some corresponding policy including active measures to cope with export trade barriers, adjustment on R&D structure and innovation of supply chain management of medicine to improve the competitiveness and development level of TCM industry in China. |
