Since 2002, miniature passenger vehicle has been in a paroxysmal-growing demand from the market. It demonstrates a unique strategic status and the function grows in the national economy growth and produces ecological effects and economic effects, all of which have aroused the widespread concern. Considering the worsening contradiction of energy shortage, deteriorating environment and fast development of automobile industry, the research on miniature passenger vehicle has the extremely important practical significance.This article has the competition strategy of miniature passenger vehicle enterprises as the core of study. It proposes multiple options in competition strategy which are suitable for miniature passenger vehicle enterprises to implement. Also, it offers macro proposals to support our country's miniature passenger vehicle enterprises to implement the competition strategy and micro-proposals designed for miniature passenger vehicle enterprises as the main body.Proposes above are mainly based on the existing related theories and analysis .The research this article makes is on the following several aspects: firstly, this article makes a comprehensive and systematic summary of relating theories on enterprise competition strategy. Relating theories which have the important fundamental function to this article's conclusion, including: related theory of enterprise competitive advantage; enterprise strategy management theory; industrial life cycle theory.Secondly, it mainly utilizes the method of constructing model analysis and contrast analysis to research comprehensively and profoundly on miniature passenger vehicle product, the industry characteristics, the market situation of the industry as well as the industrial competition rules which are displayed in the demand price elasticity, the elasticity of demand, the industry competition structure, the price competition function rule, the technology advancement function rule and the superior resources function rule. The problems and challenges faced by miniature passenger vehicle enterprises comes from the disadvantage in independent research and development, the brand inferiority, non-perfect government management as well as iterative construction.
