Design theory provides the theoretical basis for design activities and guides human designers how to accomplishing design, and plays an important role in product development. The goal of this dissertation is to study The Theory of Inventive Problem Solving and apply it on product design, and make designers get rid of the dependence of design experience and achieve the structured method for innovative product concept. The main content as following:1, The theory of inventive problem solving consists of many methods, tools and Algorithms to solve technique problem and achieve innovation development. The foundation, basic concept and method of TRIZ are analyzed, and then the problem solving flow is given based the comprehensive analysis. The advantage of TRIZ compared the traditional innovative thinking method is pointed out, which is how to achieve the best problem solution quickly.2, The theories of technology system evolution are analyzed specifically. Based the analysis result, a technology evolution hierarchy model is brought out that consists of three basic presuppositions, two evolution hierarch and more evolution lines. Combined the research result of management science and marketing, the technology foresight method is provided based the hierarchy model. Its application for technology evolution potential and innovation design also are studied. At last, the development direction of technology system evolution theory is indicated.3, Product demand models the bridge that linking the market, customers and product development process. Based the TRIZ, the process model of product demand analysis is established, which combined the advantages of market pull model and technology push model to confirm the customer requirements, and applied the TRIZ technology system evolution theory and other TRIZ tools to analyze the function attributes of the pre-product to capture the customer requirements. Case analysis indicated that the model is feasible and could capture the normative or potential demands.4, The relations and difference between the axiomatic design theory and TRIZ is compared in detail, and a integration model is established based the two theories. Using the TRIZ tools to find the generic solution, design axiom to verdict the badness or goodness of the solution, the model combined both the strong points of the two theories. Case analysis showed the feasibility and could shorten the searching time markedly.5 , Sustainable design is the reflection of sustainable development in product design...
