Virtual enterprise organizational model and operational mechanism is a hot issue to which domestic theorists and the business communities pay attention extremely, and it is the very realistic problems must be facing with the development of enterprises. Over the past 10 years, the rapid development of information and computer network technology has brought a huge change to human's production and life.Especially with the acceleration of world economic integration, the market competition increases day by day. More and more enterprises aware that it is difficult to grasp the rapidly changing market opportunities on their own internal resources integration. So they began turning their attention to external enterprises. Virtual enterprise, a means to effectively integrate external resources, aiming to enhance core competencies, becomes a real selection to adapt to economic globalization and the advent of network age.The research on virtual enterprise in China has been started. Virtual enterprise production modles have been researched by the State 863 Research Projects, National Natural Science Foundation Research Project, but the study on virtual enterprise organization and operation mechanism is still not more. Facing the not very mature of virtual enterprise theory and making use of the relevant theories and basic research findings to research the virtual enterprise organizational model and operation mechanism in-depth and systematically. Seeks to some help for domestic theoretical study and practical on virtual enterprise.This paper discusses the related theories of virtual enterprise more integrated and systematically studies the organizational model and virtual enterprise operational mechanism. First, this paper configures the virtual enterprise's basic theoretical framework, given the five relevant theories of Virtual enterprise, such as the organizations theory, the transaction costs theory, the value chain theory, the core competence theory, and the strategic of cooperation&competition theory.
