Research Upon Chinese Manufacturers' Efforts And Means Of Technological Innovation

Among other focuses of research upon innovation theories, technological innovation has attracted the most intensive attention. It is true that certain accomplishments have been gained in other specialized sectors of such research (e.g. product innovation, innovation of marketing practices, institutional innovation, and organizational innovation, etc.), it has but remained a not-so-oft seen move to probe into the technological innovation scenario, in a systematical fashion.Based on an in-depth analysis and study of myriad research findings at home and abroad, this article investigates and studies the status quo of China's manufacturing industry, and uses for reference proven cases of either success or failure registered within and outside China, as well as analyzing the great significance of, and those palpable problems arising from the path of, technological innovation efforts that Chinese manufacturers have carried out for the sake of their strategic business expansions. To be concrete, the author applies the methods of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis (via modeling)specifications analysis and analysis of proven cases (in the form of case study)in a fusion, discusses the theories of technological innovation in a systematic fashion and studies those practices of technological innovation as well. Furthermore, the author has, unprecedentedly, suggested a path of technological innovation, value-chained innovation, for China's manufacturing industry, and initialized some meaningful discussions and research on the technologies, technological innovation efforts and technological innovation strategies adopted by Chinese manufacturers, which are now being deemed as"miserable growers", from the perspectives of innovation theories, option for strategies, path devising, organization design, development of new products, and state policies formulation, etc. The whole article encompasses eight chapters, in total.Chapter 1, Introduction.
