With the development of non-state run enterprises in china, some of them failed. In early year of 2004, two biggish non-state run enterprises in china Xingjiang Delong and Jiangsu Tie Ben failed rapidly,and so, more and more people are paying attention to the failure of non-state run enterprises. According to a survey, there are less than 10 percent non-state run enterprises can survive 3 years. Their average lifecycle is short, their abnormal failure made great loss to the society, the enterprise and the employees. This dissertation tries to find the law of failure, and help the non-state run enterprises avoid abnormal failure.The author found the conception of non-state run enterprise and enterprise failure being in confusion, they need a scientific definition. The existing researches on enterprise failure were focused on one or two aspects of the problem, and most of this kind of research in china are qualitative analyses. quantitative analysis is lacking. So the space of this dissertation's research is very big.This dissertation defines non-state run economy and enterprise both in narrow and broad ways. The non-state run economy has become the main power in startup folk investment, widening the employment channel, making the economy increasing, optimizing the ownership structure, and improving the urbanization and industrialization. In order to research the failure of non-state run enterprises, according to the differences of the policy, the dissertation cut the history of non-state run enterprises into three stages, they are alternation stage, encouraging and grandness stage, and keeping on encouraging and booting stage.In order to understand the development of Chinese non-state run economy in a scientific and dialectic way, the dissertation researched the future of non-state run enterprises, and found that the non-state run economy would exist for a long time, and the employers were laborers of socialism.
