This dissertation is about the comparison of the mode of Easter Germany and the other transforming economies under the hypothesis of the endogenetic institutional evolution. We discuss the essential logic of all the transforming modes in the detail. At the same time, we bring out the theory of the endogenetic institutional determination of the transforming economy. With such a theory in the hand, we analyze the modes of Eastern Germany, Ex-Russia and Eastern Europe, and China. We point out the specific characteristics of all these transforming modes, and their evolutional paths, and their tendencies. This paper includes six chapters. In Chapter one, we discuss the relationship of the economic transformation and the economic development. We define the economic transformation; summarize the research patterns about the transforming economies. In this process, we give out the specific research target, pointing out the importance of endogenetic institutional determination in the research of the transforming social economies. We argue that the reason why social economies chose the economic transformation is the demand of the improvement of the economic efficiency. We point out the research should concentrate on the inherent motivation of the institution, so that we can decide which is the optimal path with the comparison of the transforming modes. In chapter two, we establish a model of the collective move. We point out that the people can reach a common knowledge of the emerging difficulties in economic transformation, and that they can bear the cost of the economic transformation. We use evolutional game theory to analyze such a transformation. We argue that before the third-party enforcement, there will exist a collective move mechanism, and that agreement among the members of the community will determine the specific transforming mode. We combine the collective move model and collective move mechanism together to establish the theoretical foundation of the comparison of the transforming economies. In chapter three, we analyze the Eastern Germany mode in theendogenetic evolutional mechanism. We discuss the manner of the endogenetic determination of this mode. With the theory of the evolutional strategy, we point out that the Eastern Germany mode is a typical endogenetic evolutional process. At the same time, this process is a Parato-improvement for the Western Germany. We use the collective move mode, analyze the relative economic policies, discuss the specific practice of the transforming period of Germany. In Chapter four, we discuss the fundamental characteristics, the specific difficulties and the tendency of Ex-Russia and Eastern Europe in the endogenetic evolutional mechanism. We point out that though the mode coincides with the characteristics of the endogenetic evolution, the mode ignores the complex consideration, so that the economy has been in the process of the economic stagnancy. At the same time, because there is an inherent conflict between the mode and the collective mode mechanism, which led to a polarization of the distribution. We point out this conflict decided the typical characteristic of this economic transformation. In Chapter five, we discuss the endogenetic institutional evolution explanation of Chinese economic transformation with analysis of such a mode. We argue that there is reasonable reason of the regular reform. At the same time, we discuss the difference of the regular reform and the radical reform. From the practice difference, we point out the radical reform will bring out the strike to the transforming economies. Because there is no procedure of the error and warning, the transforming economies are easy to slump into chaos. At the same time, we discuss the future tendency of Chinese economy with the analysis of the SOEs, COEs and the private firms. In Chapter Six, we compare these two different transforming modes. We discuss the theoretical foundation and the shaping path. We point out the different functioning of the governments in these two modes. At the same time, we analyze the results of the firms in these two modes. With the comparison, we can show out the different paths, the different risks, the different costs and the different results. We argue that if a government want to keep the social stability in the transformation procedure, the regular reform will be the appropriate one, and that ifa government want to get the faster development speed of the economic growth, the radical reform will be the option.
