Study On Knowledge Economy And Urban Space Structure

Today with the rapid development of the information and network technology, all countries in the world are deeply affected by knowledge economy without exception. The society of knowledge economy is an important economic and social form that followed agricultural and industrial society, and it will strongly influence urban space structure. Therefore it has profound theoretical and practical significance that we study the development trend of knowledge economy in advance, explore the internal relations between knowledge economy and urban space structure, set up the relevant theory of urban space structure, and carry out the experimental research of urban space structure on the basis of knowledge economy. So, with the methods of integration between natural sciences and social sciences, and between theory and experiment, and parallel analysis,the author carries out the pioneering study for the forward problem of knowledge economy and urban space structure, concludes as fellows in the thesis:1. With the uninterrupted development of economy and society, urban space structure will move in circles following the course of concentration and scatter, re-concentration and re-scatter. But every cycle is not the same, it is a course of spiral development.2. So the author tries to put out the theory of urban space structure in knowledge economy era on the basis of the unbalance system theory.5. In order to fit in with the development of knowledge economy era, we must actively promote constructing integrated space among Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei Province, and setting up the Beijing-Tianjin metropolis belt in the world. At the same time we must exploit and build the knowledge innovation zone, coastal industry zone and coastal flow of goods and materials zone, northern vacation and tourism area, in order that knowledge economy, industry economy and tourism economy advance side by side and integrate well.
