Studies On The Operational Mechanism And Developmental Modes Of Agricultural Business Incubator

Agricultural business incubator (ABI) is a platform of integration resource and an important part of innovation system of agricultural science and technology. Through a variety of supports and resources, the growth and development of new agricultural venture can be promoted and the commercialization of agricultural scientific and technological achievements can be accelerated. A lot of studies on business incubator have been conducted by researchers at home and abroad. However, few studies on ABI have been well conducted intensively. So this study attempts to explore the internal mechanism and development law of the growth of ABI through the combination of the theoretic research and the case study in order to provide theoretical basis for developing ABI in China. This dissertation consists the following eight charpters:Charpter 1 is Introduction. The background, significance, contents and methods were introduced, and the train and innovations of study were implied.Charpter 2 is Servey of Business Incubator. The connotations and types of bushiness incubator and distinguishes from sci-tech park were introduced. The origin, function, operational mechanism, developmental modes and other literatures were reviewed. The basic theories of business incubator were also reviewed, that is, specialization and division theory, transaction cost theory, entrepreneurship theory, industry agglomeration theory and enterprice life cycle theory.Charpter 3 is Analysis on Basic Theory of ABI Basing Integrative Innovation. The origin and research progress of integrative innovation theory were introduced. The framework and factors of integrative innovation of ABI were illustrated, and the concept of integration economy was advanced. The model of ABI accelerating the growth of regional economy was established, that is GEM (Global Entrepreneurship Monitor)-derived model.Charpter 4 is Conceptual Framework of Operational Mechanism and Developmental Modes of ABI. The connotations, characterristics and functions of ABI were introduced, and the connotations of operational mechanism and developmental modes of ABI were illustrated. The "Forth-stage theory of integration innovation of regional agriculture in China" was proposed, and the conceptual model of operational mechanism of ABI was put forward.Chartpter 5 is Studies on the Operational Mechanism of ABI. Which is the in-depth analysis of the conceptual model of operational mechanism of ABI that was put forward at the fourth charpter. The outer environment factors of influencing operational mechanism of ABI mainly refers to the outstanding appearance of science and technology of the world(the external pressure), building an innovative country (the demand), the new development stage of agriculture(the earthy choice) and the innovative culture of time-honored(the internal power). Based on the organizational structure, incentive institution, management system and culture construction, the dissertation analyzed the internal environment of ABI. Based on the decision-making mechanism, incubation ethnics, intermediation consulting mechanism, financing mechanism, risk security mechanism and talents cultivation mechanism, the dissertation analyzed the main body of operational mechanism of ABI.Charpter 6 is Studies on the Developmental Modes of ABI. The modes and differences of business incubators of home & abroad was introduced. The top model based on time was constructed that influenced ABI, and the factors of influencing developmental modes of ABI were analyzed that included investment system, the growing stage of incubator, the competition from the university and scientific research unit, agricultural enterprise heterogeneity and quality of incubator manager. With the top model, the developmental mode of Huishan Agricultural Technological Business Incubator in Shenyang was analyzed.Charpter 7 is Analysis of Operational Mechanism of Huishan Agricultural Technological Business Incubator in Shenyang. The operational mechanism of Huishan agricultural technological business incubator in Shenyang was analyzed in-depthly basing outer environmental factors(external cause), inner environmental factors (internal cause) and main body of operational mechanism with the conceptual model of operational mechanism of ABI. For the further development, the experiences were summarized, the existing problems were presented, and suggestions were made.Charpter 8 is Conclusions and Suggestions. The conclusions were elicited, the policy proposals and prospects of development were put forward correspondingly.
