By adopting the method combining qualitative and quantitative analysis, the thesis conducts in-depth and systematic research on the key elements of Jilin agricultural industrialization leading enterprises, such as the comparative advantages, competitiveness, radiation, production base and the operating mechanism. On the basis of the research, it puts forward the agricultural industrialization leading enterprises' development direction and its countermeasures.Jilin province is a major agricultural province, but it is not a strong agricultural province. There are rich natural resources in Jilin province, but the development of its agricultural industrialized leading enterprises is unsatisfactory. Where does the problem lie? What are the weaknesses? This thesis contrasts every key element on the basis of the developmental history and the status of Jilin agricultural industrialized leading enterprises, and it also adopts Quantitative Analysis to analyze it.1. Competitiveness of Jilin agricultural industrialized leading enterprisesTaking into consideration of the close relationship between agricultural industrialized leading enterprises and agricultural production and farmers, we establish a set of scientific and complete evaluation system. Taking advantage of this evaluation system, we use Principal Component Analysis to analyze competitiveness of national agricultural industrialized leading enterprises for the overall ranking. Because of the advantages of natural resources, Competitiveness of Jilin province ranks to seventh. Notable features are: The pace of Jilin agricultural industrialized leading enterprises' development and growth sorts tops in the forefront, however its economic indicators are lower than the national average level.2. Radiation of Jilin agricultural industrialized leading enterprisesPrincipal component analysis and evaluation system are applied to analyze radiation of 9 JiLin agricultural industrialized leading enterprises. From the perspective of the relationship between the compliance rate and the number of famous and well-known trademarks; the relationship between agricultural industrialized leading enterprises and farmers, this thesis analyzes in detail the radiation of agricultural industrialized leading enterprises in Jilin regions. There are few large enterprises in JiLin province, which affects the radiation of JiLin agricultural industrialized leading enterprises; the radiation of leading enterprises in the central and east regions significantly higher than the west, especially in Tonghua region, the index of the compliance rate, the number of famous and well-known trademarks, the proportion of fixed assets investment, the proportion of sales revenue, leading enterprises and the production units is higher than the province's average. The radiation of agricultural industrialized leading enterprises in Changchun and Jilin is seriously affected because of their low contract compliance rate.3. Construction of the production base of Jilin agricultural industrialized leading enterprisesAccording to the statistics, cultivation bases of Jilin province are in the central—Changchun, the east—Yanbian and the west—Baicheng. Livestock farming bases are mainly in the west. Poultry raising bases are in the central and east. The main problems are: small scale of bases, low level of construction, the relationship between leading enterprises and the interests of farmers is not close enough, the development of leading enterprises resource requirements is out of line with the production base, which lead to low efficiency of allocation of resources and Inadequacy of base production technology innovations.4. Operating mechanism.Operating mechanism could be divided into three categories in this thesis: Corporation, cooperative and joint-stock. According to American economists Williamson's point of view, the differences between transaction frequency and the two sides special assets decide the different choices of operating mechanism. When Special Assets of the two sides are strong and complementary, transaction frequency also very high, two sides are on the vertical integration, operating mechanism uses shareholding or uses contracts or cooperative system. The feature of the contract system is: production costs are low, but transaction costs are high because of the stimulation of the market. The feature of Shareholding is: transaction costs are relatively low, but production costs are high and the costs of internal management are significantly increased because of less stimulation of the market. Therefore, the keys to develop agricultural industrialized leading enterprises are to choose right operating mechanism and correctly solve its problems.On average, according to 2000—2005, among various operating mechanisms of Jilin agricultural industrialization, Contract System occupies 60.1%, cooperative system is 15.7%, shareholding is 1.5% and others are 12.7%. Among them, the proportion of contracts has dropped, shareholding has increased and cooperative system changed little, which shows that the operating mechanisms of Jilin agricultural industrialization are at the lower levels.This thesis analyzes the key problems deeply, finds out their sources and also puts forward the agricultural industrialized leading enterprises' development direction and its countermeasures.
