The Empirical Study On Chinese Entrepreneurship And Enterprise Financial Performance

In practical engineering, with the basis of empirical method and from the angle ofenterprise financial performance, this research tries to explore internal relationship ofentrepreneurship and enterprise financial performance, which adopts corelational andduster analysis as its main research means. The dissertation verifies related theoryabout entrepreneurship, provides instructive advices for cultivating entrepreneurshipand enhancing enterprise financial performance.Chapter 1 is an introduction, which introduces practical meaning of the research,including origin of terms, current situation and research background; besides that, itgives a pointed analysis towards related theory and also expounds theoretical andpractical meaning of the research.Chapter 2 is about literature review and research ideas, expounding definition ofentrepreneurship, domestic and foreign research fruits. Based on the literature review,this dissertation expounds the research ideas, and related technical route.Chapter 3 is about analysis of entrepreneurship inscapes. Firstly it defines theentrepreneurship again, then through theory deducing and analyzing, establishes thediscriminating model of entrepreneurship inscape. The dissertation dividesentrepreneurship into main factors and expressive factors by constructing theoreticalmodel of entrepreneurship inscapes. And get the special expressive factors by analysisfilter. Resolve the problem which previously researches always focus on qualitativedescription, but neglect quantitative description, and also establish an quantitativeindex system of entrepreneurship.Chapter 4 is about index design of enterprise financial performance. Based on theneed about the analysis and discussion between entrepreneurship and enterprisefinancial performance, this chapter first describes design principles and methods ofthe enterprise financial performance, and then makes sure the qualitative index andquantitative index of enterprise financial performance. Chapter 5 introduces the design about empirical research, expounds the aims andsteps of empirical research. It also describes document design, choice of investingobjects and process of questionnaire hand-out, take-back and so on. In addition, itgives a detailed demonstration of statistics tools and means which empirical researchadopts.Chapter 6 is mainly about process of empirical research and related conclusions.It makes an empirical research from 3 aspects. First one is what elements Chinese entrepreneurship is made up of and the ranking of these elements. Entrepreneurshipelements vary because of impact of different factors. These factors include enterprisescale, enterprise industry character, enterprise property right and difference of northand south entrepreneur. Second one is the interaction of four main factors ofentrepreneurship (Strategic innovation, organization innovation, operating innovationand flexibility innovation).Third one is correlation research between entrepreneurshipand enterprise financial performance, conducing correlation analysis ofentrepreneurship and enterprise financial performance and enterprise financialperformance of four main factors of enterprise financial performance and three mainfinancial indexes.Chapter 7 is about typical cases and the result discussion of empirical research. Itanalyzes the typical cases about Chinese entrepreneurship, and then integrates thepreviously empirical research, gets further analyzing and discussing about results ofthe study. The chapter base on three factors: the first one is related characteristics ofChinese entrepreneurship; the second one is related cultural origins of Chineseentrepreneurship; the third one is related nurturing of Chinese entrepreneurshipChapter 8 is a summary and preview. Based on the research fruit, it exploresmeaning of entrepreneurship again. Meanwhile, it analyzes drawback of the research,making a prospect for the future research and supplying a reference for the laterresearcher.The main innovations of this dissertation are as followings:(1) It discusses entrepreneurship in qualitative and quantitative, according todomestic and foreign research, finds previous researches of entrepreneurship stress onqualitative description, this dissertation divides entrepreneurship into main factorsand expressive factors by constructing theoretical model of entrepreneurship inscapes,and analyzes on quantitative through index design, finds Chinese entrepreneurshipstresses on operating innovation, lacks strategic innovation and organizationinnovation, provides scientific base for the conclusion.(2) In the correlation of entrepreneurship and management performance, thisdissertation combines questionnaire and enterprise financial performance data,analyzes the correlations between them, draws a series of valuable conclusions thatChinese entrepreneurship and finance performance have strong direct correlation, butdifferent entrepreneurship factors have evident different influences on enterprisefinancial performance.(3) Through research on the effect of expressive factors to entrepreneurship andenterprise financial performance, analyzes different entrepreneurship of different industries cycle, different ownerships, different areas(south and north part of China),different scale, and influence extents, finds different areas, different ownerships,different industries have evident influence, different entrepreneurship have evidentinfluence on enterprise financial performance.The research has a systematic and integrated analysis of constructing factor ofentrepreneurship, testing difference between domestic and foreign entrepreneurshipand answering which entrepreneurship elements have strong correlation withenterprise financial performance and which entrepreneurship elements have a weakrelationship, and it also makes an exploration towards micro factors affectingenterprise financial performance. The research is beneficial to perfect corporategovernance theory, management incentive, restraint theory, HR theory and corporatestrategy theory, thus it is very meaningful. Specially, it also has an importanttheoretical and practical meaning on nurturing entrepreneurship.
