Financial transmission right is a financial tool of power transmission congestion management,which can realize rents allocation of network congestion and is also a effective method to hedge the risk of transmission congestion for market participants. On the basis of optimal power flow by primal dual interior point methods, with the excellent performance of primal dual interior point method dealing with large nonlinear systems, several forms of transmission rights are researched and auction algorithm is realized. Compared with the previous transmission rights research based on DC model and because more security constraints are considered, my research is closer to the actual network operation conditions so that spot market could be more reliable. Research in this paper is also an exploration of the upcoming transmission right transactions in our country. Therefore, it is significant on both theory and engineering.Firstly, the classification, the balance of payments surplus and the effect transmission rights imposed on market are introduced. And then the main algorithms of optimal power flow and their advantages and disadvantages are summarized. The algorithms of transmission rights under AC-DC model are also analyzed. This paper will focus on the algorithms of financial transmission rights based on AC optimal power flow.Secondly, point-to-point transmission right based on AC load flow is researched. The point-to-point transmission rights including balanced type and unbalanced type are established, and then auction model is constructed. A rapid calculation of the auction model is achieved by primal dual interior point method. And the simulation results show the efficiency of the proposed model and proposed method.According to the design procedures and definition of transmission right, the point-to-point transmission right considering reactive power price fluctuations is proposed and studied. Such right includes active power right and reactive power right so as to avoid price differences risks of active power and reactive power between two nodes. The auction model is established and the rapid calculation is achieved by nonlinear interior point method. Such right provides a more comprehensive financial tool to hedge price difference risks for market participants. It can provide effective economic signals to reactive investments.With an accurate forecast to power system operating point, AC sensitivities can match the actual power flow more exactly compared with DC sensitivities. Flowgate transmission right trades integrated with AC sensitivities and point-to-point transmission right integrated with flowgate transmission right are proposed. The method to avoid price difference risk and the trade procedures are also described in this paper. Two auction models based on AC sensitivities are established and solved by linear interior point methods. Numerical results show that the feasibility and efficiency of such two transmission rights.In order to realize flexible choosing for market participants between point-to-point transmission right and flowgate transmission right, a new type of hybrid transmission right based on optimal power flow is proposed in this paper. The principle of hedging risks and transaction methods of such hybrid rights are introduced. The auction model is established and analyzed by primal dual interior point methods. The feasibility and efficiency of such hybrid transmission rights are showed by numerical simulation results.Finally, transmission rights market structure in China is designed aiming at solving the problems of the research lag of transmission right and the lack of transaction software in our country and several main subsystem are also proposed in the paper. The software of transmission right transaction is developed. The software interface is friendly and can be upgraded and maintained. My research on transmission right is a useful attempt for the development of transmission right market in China.
