One or two cultures are powerful, and some are weak even very weak. Which culture matters more strongly than other cultures depends on the conditions of the era. These cultures are not only different and conflicted, but also connected and mixed each other. In the war and revolution times, political and military culture is popular, but in the peaceful times or economic development periods, economic and business culture is popular. In China, with wide and deep development of reform and opening, economic culture affects the social life more and more deeply.Generally speaking, China is a culture-oriented and culture-dominated society. But the question is what kind of culture really controls the society. In the traditional Chinese society, political culture and moral culture are so strong that people ignore the significance of economy and economics. But in the modern society, what influences all people powerfully everyday are business, economy, trade and finance. Economic life has changed culture conceptions and culture types. The cultural meaning and significance of economy, economics, finance even industry and commerce are found. This is the social background of the economic culture. Although different society in different times has different cultural value, belief and ideals, a lot of fundamental values are common and same, so they can be existed together. In fact, economic culture has a double-bladed effect to the economy and society. although economic culture develops quickly in modern society, it has certain negative functions such as consumerism, economic invasion, so it is necessary to guide and control the development of economic culture to prompt the healthy development of the economy and quick progress of the society.
