Study On Tourism Geo-scince Features And Development Model In The Gongga Mountain Area

Gongga Mountain is located in the transition zone between of the eastern edge of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and the Sichuan Basin. The main peak elevation is 7556m. Terrain elevation difference is great, and modem glacier is numerous, the new tectonic movement is very strong, vertical band full of natural and tourism landscape is very rich. It is the ideal area of study on the formation and development of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and geo-tourism and mountain eco-tourism.Gongga Mountain area under the Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan Province (the principal) and the city of Ya'an (part), involves in Kangding, Luding, Kowloon, Daofu, Shimian 5 counties, 30 townships. Its total area is 12000km~2. The area locates at the combination of economic zones in Chengdu Plain and economic zones in western Sichuan plateau. It is the economic corridor between Tibetan and Chinese, an important part of Sichuan-Tibet "Tea-Horse Road" culture, the birthplace of Kham, and Core area of the largest of Shangri-La tourism online. Scientific evaluation, serious protection and rational development of advantage tourism resources in Gongga Mountain area, and the development of special industries and promoting economic development in minority areas is one of the important tasks of this thesis.This thesis briefly introducted previous studies and research ideas, and systematically expounded the regional geological background and geographical conditions in Gongga Mountain area. According to the geo-tourism principles and methods, this thesis comprehensive and in-depth studied of the distribution, classification and characteristics of geological landscape in the Gongga Mountain area,. It divided "high mountain valley landscape", "landscape of glaciers", "water landscape", "construction landscape"and" layered landscape", and "geological disasters landscape "such as the 6 categories and 21 sub-categories. The thesis detailedly analyzed the causes of the various types of geological landscape and quantitative evaluation of the most 64 sites geological landscape.The thesis deeply analyzed existence and existence question of the development of tourism in Gongga mountion area, and from the global point of view, comparatively analyzed mountain tourism development typical case at home and abroad, which provided a model and inspiration for tourism development in Gongga Mountain area.Finally, according to the building of ecological civilization and sustainable development principles, from the success experience of the development of mountain tourism, combined with development tourism resources and environment characteristics in Gongga Mountain area, the thesis bringed up sustainable tourism development strategy of Gongga Mountain area and mountain tourism Sustainable development model, that is, "three-space mountain eco-tourism exploitation model ". The model contains three main elements: (1) plane (X axis) Division: According to two major themes of protection and development, It carried out the functions region; (2) vertical (Y axis) zoning: In accordance with the change of the mountain elevation, It carried out different zones; (3) Time (Z axis) sustainable development: in accordance with the principles and methods of eco-tourism, It carried out protection of resources and environmenl, product development, infrastructure construction, and tourism management. According to the principles of th model, Gongga Mountain srea is divided into five functional areas, three layers and four vertical distribution tourism products, and the establishment of a set of sustainable development management system.
