Shipbuilding industry is one of Chinese strategical industries and an industry with international competitiveness. With world shipbuilding industry center transferring east, Chinese shipbuilding yield is the third of the world stably. In 2007, shipbuilding completion is 1.893 million load ton, and Chinese 1059 shipbuilding enterprises of scale achieve industry production value 2563 hundred million yuan. Chinese new ship orders carrying on and ship orders holding amount is only lower than Korea and is the second of the world in 2007. In 21 century, Chinese shipbuilding industry's high prosperity cycle has lasted some years. Whether high increasing of shipbuilding productive capacity can continue is problem of realization of goal that Chinese becomes largest shipbuilding country. In order to keep continual rising of Chinese shipbuilding industry, shipbuilding enterprises must change management mode and advance management efficiency. Implement of supply chain and enhancement of shipbuilding enterprises' quality and time and cost benefit are one of important approach to boost up shipbuilding enterprises' competitiveness.The thesis constructs the general framework of the SCM mode. With the guidance of the SCM theory, the chain management theory, the core competence and value chain theory, and the modern shipbuilding process management theory, etc, the thesis begins with the analysis of the structure, characteristics and status of shipbuilding enterprises' shipbuilding supply chain (SSC). On this basis, the thesis constructs the supply chain integration management mode with the business process reengineering (BPR) as the foundation; the supplier selection and cooperation as the core; the supply chain coordination management as the guarantee; the inventory management as the hub; and the performance evaluation and the stimulation as the control means. This mode fully reflects the characteristics of the shipbuilding industry chain, and integrates the internal and external resources of shipbuilding enterprises, which can minimize the cost of manufacture, purchase and inventory of shipbuilding enterprises' SSC, and optimize the value chain of the customers and the member enterprises.BPR is the foundation of SCM. This thesis studies the BPR of shipbuilding enterprises under the environment of supply chain (SC), and points out the coupling between the SC optimization and the BPR of shipbuilding enterprises. This coupling is embodied in strategy analysis, target, process and means. Subsequently, the thesis puts forward the BPR and the two-step strategy, that is, to make the decision of business outsourcing on the first step, and implement the redesigning of business process of SCM on the second step. The thesis analyses the connection and function of order, logistics, distribution, manufacture, purchase and planning around the six links of shipbuilding enterprises' SCM.Supplier management is the core of SCM. The thesis researches the organization modes and the operation modes of shipbuilding enterprises' supplier management under the environment of SCM. The thesis analyses the cooperative decision-making between shipbuilding enterprises and the suppliers with game theory, and generalizes the four organization modes that shipbuilding enterprises cooperates with the suppliers: the market transaction mode, the contract mode, the partnering mode and the strategic alliance. In particular, the strategic alliance is deeply analyzed. And then, the thesis studies the operation modes that shipbuilding enterprises cooperates with the suppliers which are based on the purchase and the product development.Coordination mode is the guarantee of the integration effect of SC. The thesis thoroughly analyses the definition, characteristics and function of the SSC coordination, and gives shipbuilding enterprises' SSC coordination mode from the strategic layer, and the operation layer. Concretely, the strategic layer coordination is analyzed from the due-date, quality and price. And the operation layer coordination is analyzed from the internal and external coordination of the ship design and building.Inventory management is the hub of SCM. This thesis provides two brand-new inventory management modes of shipbuilding enterprises under the environment of SCM: vendor managed inventory mode and join managed inventory mode. The thesis points out that shipbuilding enterprises' inventory cooperation mode based on the in-depth cooperation with the suppliers is helpful to solve the disadvantages in the traditional inventory management mode, and will make great contribution to the improvement of the cost, time, and quality benefits.The thesis establishes the operation performance evaluation system of shipbuilding enterprises' SSC based on SCOR. First, the evaluation index system is set up from five aspects: the reliability of the delivery, the responsiveness of the suppliers, the flexibility of the SC, the operation cost of the SC, and the efficiency of assets management of the SC. Then, by applying the SCOR model, the thesis evaluates the operation performance of shipbuilding enterprises' SSC and makes an empirical analysis.Finally, the countermeasures to improve the operation performance of shipbuilding enterprises' SSC are proposed systematically. To guarantee the long-term benign operation of shipbuilding enterprises' SSC, the thesis suggests that shipbuilding enterprises should build up new concept of integrated management based on SC; carry out organizational innovation favoring SCM; strengthen the information platform construction based on SC; enhance supplier relationship management and integrate the global resources; construct the motivation and restriction mechanism of shipbuilding enterprises' SCM; utilize the opportunity of the development of port industry in Dalian to the full; improve the policy environment of supply chain operation...
