Research On Modern Business Operator Ethics

With the economy globalization,the customers' requirements diversification,knowledge economization, internet popularization and the growth of speedy transportation,modern business has been showing the world a surprising expansion.On one hand,it brings forth the business prosperity,on the other hand,it sharpen the competition. Modern business competes not only in the brand,technology, management and services but also in business operators' ethics. However,during the process of development,some operators conduct serious ill competitive behaviour.All these ill ethical business activities seriously undermine the healthy operation of market order,spoil the social credit system and deeply affect the sustainable development of modern business and business organizations.Therefore,the thesis will discuss several theoretical problems that need to be urgently solved in modern business ethics from the standpoint of the operators.The content and outline of the thesis can be simplified as one standpoint,three perspectives,two thought leads three standard dimensions,seven problem styles and four solutions.Regarding the operators ethics as the research standpoint of modern business ethics,the thesis displays its profound realistic significance and theoretical sense as well.Modern business ethics mainly concern four kinds of prefit-relating relationships,namely,the relationship between the consumer and the operator,the supplier and the operator,the operator and other operators in the same line(the competitors)and between nature and the operator,the supplier and the consumer.Business operation is the key segment of business activities,while business operator is the core of the completion of all business activities.Hence,business operator's ethics are the key part in modern business ethics because operator's ethics will make a notable impact on ethics of the supplier,the consumer and the business environment. Based on the research standpoint of business operatior's ethics and with the unification of values discourse and instrument discourse as a leading thread,the thesis erects its concepts of modern business ethics,that is,ethical model becomes the integrity objective of modern business ethics and sustainable operation being its utility objective.The theoretical research of the significance of business operator ethics can be made from three perspectives.First, from the aspects of healthy operation of modern market system, complete laws and appropriate ethics are its two rudiments. Business ethics become not only the motivation system of the markets subject but also their main competitive means.It can be transferred into wealth and push forward the healthy market development by way of binding market operation,compensating the market defects and decreasing the trade costs.Second,from the angle of business credit,they are comprehensive reflection of integrity and credit rating of the operators during the process of operation,the ethic foundation of business operation system and the unification of laws and morals.Third, from the dimension of business development,the sustainable development of modern business implies the sustainable development and the green environment requirement of business organizations whose continuous motivation originate from business ethics.In order to maintain sustainable development, modern business operator ethics require the transformation of profit maximization from the business operators to the related parties,thus pursuing much more long-term profit.Starting with two thought leads the thesis combs the origin of modern business ethical theory.In Chinese,the panorama history of traditional business operator ethics are featured with integrity spirit deceiving neither young nor old,the morality gaining profit via noble deeds and cherishing good taste yet despising vulgarity and the harmony saying good-balance is the best.In the west,it is characterized by worshiping commerce,running after downright profits and emphasizing reasonable thoughts.With the deep mergence of the two ethical thoughts in modern times,modern business operator ethics have shaped into combination of vivid universal adaptation and specific regulations caused by cultural difference.The thesis discusses the theory structure of modern business operator ethical standards in three dimensions of utility,rights and justice.The practical core of utility principle is to maximize the profit for related parties which contain four profit groups,that is,the operator-oriented subject group,the consumer-oriented realistic group,the supplier-Oriented supplementary group and the enjoyable group with the state and the environment influencer as the subjects. The practical kernel of rights principle is to maximize the rights for the related parties,And the practical center of justice principle is to optimally reorganize the justice of profit and rights for the concerned parties.Therefore,the integral combination of the three principle constitute the standard structure of modern business operator ethics. Modern business operator ethical problems mainly include bribery,coercion,theft discrimination,fraud,distrust and counterfeit,which will be analysed from the aspects of its connotation,nature,harm and seductive reasons in the thesis. To solve these problems,the thesis also expound how to conduct business activities adaptable to operator ethical standard.At first,a ethic-supporting style for policies should be established to improve the moral principles of organization policies.Then,organization culture should be established to support adaptable ethical behavior by way of setting organization values,fixing regulations for personnel's moral behavior and creating cultural atmosphere.Thirdly,measures such as cultivating personality,strengthening education and intensifying individual accomplishment should be taken to nurture morality of the business operators.At last,perfect outside supervision system which combine government supervision which media and public supervision should be set up to restrain business activities that are not fit for ethical standards.In a word,with the implementation of the above-mentioned measures,business activities fit for ethical standards can be prompted and sustainable development in modern business can be promoted.
