International trade of agricultural products is an important component of China's foreign trade. For the special national condition that export of agricultural products is often relation to the vast farmer fundamental interests in China, export of agricultural products is different from the export of common commercial. In this sense, Chinese agricultural products export even has been an eternal concern project of scholars.Among various export markets of Chinese agricultural products, there is a particularity in the trade of agricultural products between South Korea and China. The reason is that, trade in agricultural products in recent years, China has always been in deficit, whereas in surplus with South Korea. And South Korea has been China's third largest agricultural export market in the most of recent 10 years. As rich in labor resources, the basic strategy of Chinese agricultural exports is to export labor-intensive products which China has the comparative advantage. Based on the theory of comparative advantage, China should export the labor-intensive agricultural products to South Korea, so as to achieve effective allocation of resources and increase the social welfare. However, there are some reality problems need to be considered, whether these export agriculture products have a comparative advantage, whether these export agricultural products which have comparative advantage are still have the potential, how deep does the US-Korea FTA impact on China -South Korea agricultural products trade, whether to establish the FTA between China and South Korea as well as the impact on the bilateral trade in agricultural products. So, it has great significance of deeply think of these problems. In this paper, multi-disciplinary theories and methods were integrated used,"Chinese agricultural products exports to South Korea: potential, barrier and strategic choice"were focused on, studied in multi-level, multi-dimensional. Under the guidance of the theory framework which"based on the perspective of comparative advantage", through the organic integration of theoretical and empirical, macro- and micro-, the regularity of agricultural products were attempt to describe and reveal, the trend of future development was explored. The main conclusions are as follows. In the complex and ever-changing environment, China and South Korea's agricultural products trade will continue to maintain a moderate growth trend. The relevance of Chinese agricultural products comparative advantage and its export structure with Korea is lower. The agricultural products exports to South Korea from China have a great potential. But in current and future, the United States is the main competitor of China in South Korea's agricultural products import market. In the future, Chinese agricultural products export to Korea will face greater obstacles. The policy must be transformed so as to expand exports and promote the transition of agriculture. The main innovations are as follows. Based on the perspective of comparative advantage, this paper established a theoretical framework. Under this framework, the agricultural products category which China itself has a comparative advantage, and also China has a competitive advantage to South Korea were calculated. And through the establishment of the gravity model, the export potential was analyzed. Based on comprehensive analyzed of China-South Korea agricultural products trade, this paper combined the comparative advantage and competitive advantage, the export strategy that comparative advantage is basis and competitive advantage is guide for agricultural products was established. And the export strategy would be the basic strategy for Chinese agricultural products export to Korea.
