Owing to the development in wireless information technology, information may reach any where more glibly and expediently in the world, M-business attaches importance to people diffusely and grows rapidly. As a rising business form, how to model business process which represents characteristics of M-business to analyze and evaluate its performances is a import academic and practical issue. The thesis starts research on the business process, the characteristics of wireless information technology is involved, the business process models in M-business environment are set up. According to the model established, the performances change of business process are verified, analyzed and simulated, further the value of M-business is recognized and evaluated objectively, and eventually to promote the application and development of M-business.The research thesis will basically concentrate on the study of the business process modeling and application in M-business environment:(1) Analysis on business process of M-Business systemGrasping the common characters of M-business System completely is the base of research on business process in M-business environment. M-business is a the syncretic system of wireless information technology and traditional business, and its aim is to obtain the added value incurred by the wireless information technology, whose concrete representation is the utility and efficiency of information. Applying function principle and the whole emergence principle of the System Science, the article raises a three-dimensional framework for M-business system, which accommodates spatial utility, temporal efficiency and information objects. Based on the above three-dimensional framework, reachability and mobility are as the key factors, their influences in business process are analyzed, the characters of business process in M-business are summarized, and demand of modeling is referred.(2) Modeling and analyzing of business process based on Petri NetWith the application of wireless information technology, information transmission can reach any geographic point in the world and extend the geographic space for the business activity involved. This "reachability" can enhance the time efficiency of business process: on the one hand, time span for information acquisition is saved; on the other hand, owing to the decisiveness of information, the arrangement for activities will be influenced positively by the duly information transmission. From the perspectives of differentiating the information and entities in the business process, and paying attention to the application of wireless information offering the duly decision-making functions, a colored timed Petri net with inhibitor arcs process model is constructed and the formulas of business process efficiency improvement are raised here. With the model at hand, the improvement level on efficiency of M-Business in comparison to traditional business can be calculated and business process performance efficiency variances after the introduction of wireless technology can be quantitatively analyzed and simulated.(3) Modeling and verification of business process based onπ-calculusAfter the application of the wireless technology, people will take part in the business activity in the mobile environment. The mobility will incur the flexibility of working process due to different environments, consequently improving business process performance. With due respect to the business process flexibility incurred by the mobility, aπ-calculus model and choice process component are advanced expressing the variation structure of business process according to the environment dynamics, carrying through the deduction calculus based on the model, therefore the designed business process can be verified to see if it is compatible with the business process criterion. Furthermore, based on the prototypeπ-calculus model, with time elements being introduced, timeπ-calculus model for the business process is built up, which is used to verify, analyze and simulate the performance of business process in the M-business environment.The above research results are applied to the wireless vendor machine system of a certain province mobile company. It have accomplished excellent results to analyze utility and efficiency of information, evaluate performance of logistic distribution and otherwise. Validity of the thesis' model is verified.
