Research On Relay Strategy Of The Main Mineral Resources In The Three Northeastern Provinces Of China

In the three northeastern provinces of China, energy, raw material, equipment manufacturing industry which are main parts of vast amount of state-owned capital and property and big enterprises, contribute great much in the construction of China's independent and integrated industry system and economy system. But the long time resource development made the advantage of northeast China's old industrial base on excavation and raw materials industry disappearing gradually, and so do the dominance of traditional industry. CPC Central Committee and State Council attached great importance to adjust the old northeastern industrial base, and the 16th CPC National Congress made "in support of the northeastern and other old industrial bases to speed up the adjustment and transformation " a major decision. In the process of the old northeastern industrial base changing from "old" to "new", the efficient supply of mineral resources has become critical to the problem. Thus, research on relay strategy of mineral resources in the three northeastern provinces has important theoretical and practical significance.The research on relay strategy of mineral resources in the three northeastern provinces is a new subject, more innovative and exploratory is analysis and research on feasibility of the importation of Northeast Asia mineral resources on the base of it's potential. In this thesis, with large amount of material and research, the auther summarizes the status quo, the main problems and supply and demand situation of the mineral resources in the three northeastern provinces for development and utilization, while comprehensively analyses the portential of mineral resources in Northeast Asia area as well as deeply investigates the close relationship between the supply and demand situation of the mineral resources in the three northeastern provinces and the development and utilization of mineral resources in Northeast Asia area. And it provides the general ideas, strategic goal, strategic principles, strategic focuses and suggestions on relay strategy of main mineral resources in the three northeastern provinces.The whole thesis composes by Preface, Status Quo Analysis of Important Mineral Resources in the Three Northeastern Provinces, Prodiction on Main Mineral Resources Demand of Economic Development in the Three Northeastern Provinces, Analysis on Export Potential of Mineral Resources in Northeast Asia Area, Feasibility of Mineral Resources Importation in the Three Northeastern Provinces from Northeast Asia Area, Relay Strategy of the Main Mineral Resources in the Three Northeastern Provinces. The main contributions of this thesis are:1. By research on storage, exploitation and utilization situation of mineral resources in the three northeastern provinces, it summarizes the features of mineral resources in each provinces, as well as the main problem of mineral resources development and utilization in each provinces.2. It deeply investigates the important role of mineral resources on the revitalization of old northeastern industrial base. It also discusses the general situation of mineral industry and mineral product processing industry in northeastern provinces. It compares and analyses the proportion of petrochemical industry, metallurgical industry, construction material industry in northeastern provinces to that in the whole country. It suggests that in the three northeastern provinces, heavy chemical industry structure which mainly composed by energy and raw material industry constitutes serious dependence on mineral resources. With the analysis on problems of Curing of the industrial structure, industrial expansion, large-scale infrastructure construction, upgrading of the consumption structure in northeastern provinces, it expounds the new demand of mineral resources supply by revitalization of old northeastern industrial base. It gets the conclusion that to solve the relay strategy problem of mineral resources is neccesary to revitalization of the old northeastern industrial base. 3. It provides supply prediction on main mineral products in northeastern provinces. It analyses the consumption data of main mineral resources, and discusses the demand situation of important energy mineral,ferrous metal mineral, non-ferrous metal mineral and non-metallic mineral in the three northeastern provinces. It analyses the main mineral storage and production in these provinces, discusses the supply status of main mineral in this area. On the base of supply and demand analysis, it calculates the demand and supply amount of Coal, oil, iron, copper, lead, zinc, molybdenum, magnesite, boron in the three northeastern provinces, analyses and prodicts the inssuranse degree of supply ability and consuming demand of these nine mineral.4.It analyses the potential of mineral resources in Northeast Asia and the feasibility of importing mineral resources of northeast China area. On the base of systematic research on status quo and future of mineral products manufacturing and exporting in Northeast Asia economy as well as the potential of mineral resources in Northeast Asia area, it deeply analyses the status quo and new advancement of cooperation between the three northeastern provinces of China and Northeast Asia. It also discusses the feasibility of mineral products importation of the three northeastern provinces from Northeast Asia economies. It provides reliable evidence on the three northeastern provinces'importing mineral resources from Northeast Asia area, and the solution of the main mineral resources relay problem in the three northeastern provinces.5.It provides the general ideas, strategic goal, strategic principles, strategic focuses and main suggestions on relay strategy of the main mineral resources in the three northeastern provinces, which has important merit of consulting.The main innovations of this thesis are:1. It calculates the demand and supply in 2020 of the 9 important minerals as coal, oil, iron, copper, lead, zinc, molybdenum, magnesite, boron in the three northeastern provinces. And it predicts the assurance degree of supply ability of these 9 minerals to consumption demand within this area. It turns out that up to 2020, the supply ability of 4 minerals as iron, molybdenum, magnesite,boron in this area is enough for demand, while that of the other 5 minerals as coal, oil, copper, lead, zinc is not enough for demand and needs to seek for relay resources.2.
